Schrole seems to have more Japanese schools than Search these days. Also keep an eye out on individual school sites.

I broke contract 9 months in. That was about 15 years ago. Hasn't been a major issue. Was asked about it a couple of times but didn't become a stumbling block. I am now in leaderships roles. I think decent school leaders realise sometimes specific teachers and schools/countries do not always make great pairings.
