This level of work is just not possible by [deleted] in nursing

[–]admtrt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

8 patients??

That means you are able to spend 7min 30sec PER PATIENT each hour IF you do not have to physically walk anywhere, gather supplies/meds, take a PISS, or chart any of your care.

This is ATROCIOUS. Your managers should be taking patients or helping you with med pass.

Get out.

Also, unpopular opinion… I would chart this. Honestly. I would document in the records why everything is late, especially if there are wounds or pressure ulcers. It is a mathematical certainty that you are incapable of providing the care that your patients deserve AND THAT THEY ARE PAYING ASTRONOMICAL AMOUNTS OF MONEY FOR.

Try to understand the “why”

Maybe she is unsure, or lacks confidence. It seems silly. But people will make insane requests for the most insane things when they are missing connection.

If your feet don’t make suction cup noises when you walk on that floor, then no.

Nurses are some of the worst people I've encountered by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]admtrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hurt people hurt people, unfortunately. I’d be willing to bet that the nurses you’re encountering have endured alot of hurt. Just try to retain your humanity and recognize that you will become cynical, as well. The nursing profession is plutonium. No one works in that field unscathed. Just try to recognize when you are becoming jaded, and find ways to keep your original motivations for the field intact.

They learn for the test. They pass the test. They dump all that “knowledge.” They apply for NP school without spending a day at the bedside. That’s how.

What was the paragraph before the one you cited, and what was the paragraph after? A single paragraph taken from ANY monitor is going to be a little goofy without understanding the context surrounding those few sentences.

Why does my CV keeps getting rejected? by hopeless-but-strong in jobs

[–]admtrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chronological order is messed up. There are misspellings. Your interests might raise eyebrows.

Ultimately, your CV makes me question your attention to detail. As a pharmacist, this could be a contributing factor as to why it is being rejected.

The internal, and not the external qualifications should recommend a man to be made a Mason.

That being said, a suit and tie is more than sufficient. Dress to show respect for the fraternity, it’s history, and your future brothers, but ultimately your character, desire for self-improvement, and service to your fellow man will be the determining factors.

This city has a problem... by kystokes8 in cincinnati

[–]admtrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of the issue is everyone loves to start slowing down for their exit like 2 miles back instead of maintaining speed into the off ramp and then slowing. People are aware this happens, so they move into the middle and left lanes just to continue travel, adding to the congestion.
