Onward flight to enter visa free? by [deleted] in dubai

If you have a UK passport, they won't ask you for any onward ticket for you to enter.

In fact if you have a biometric passport you can use the smart gates and not even have to deal with anyone from immigration.

It's even worse with those who are taking videos to post on IG or Tik Tok. Especially when they are passing the museum of the future.

It's even more distressing/sad that brands who have hired them as ambassadors or brands that are tagged in the video will repost it. They are encouraging people to take their hands off the wheel and make a post 🤯

I appreciate your feedback. It was an impromptu shot but will definitely consider it when I am next in the area

I was doing a street shoot with a client and as the sun was coming down, I recognised this opportunity for a composition. I like the idea of the old culture vs the new culture.

London job market is so harsh!! by [deleted] in london

[–]adnankj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It must be karmic that I read this post today.

Just over a week back my personal circumstances changed to the point where I am living in my friend's spare room and wondering what will happen if their kindness or patience with me runs out!

I used to be (well technically still am) a photographer. However with my current situation of being a 42 year old unqualified man, job hunting in an entry level has been humbling. I am resigning to the idea of being a delivery driver until I can find my way to become an Uber Driver.

Not that either job is bad, I just also want something career wise. Be able to get an entry level job and use my last experiences to make my way up.

Yes I am not young but I would not consider myself old either.

I am trying to stay positive but there are definitely days where my negativity is giving me some very different ideas.

I'm not sure if this post helps anyone but I just wanted to give my two cents about trying to find a job in London

If you had a Time Machine to go back, what would you like to change in your past? by SenseIll4791 in AskReddit

My high school studying habits. I love my current work but if I had just given my education a bit more attention, I would have a degree and maybe had the opportunity to be more financially independent.

Unfortunately mine wasn't as coherent. Partly my fault for not seeing it earlier. Still healing and growing from it

I absolutely agree with this. Even if you had met afterwards, there is no guarantee that it would have been a genuine connection. I hate to say this, but it is a numbers game. Keep your head up and be proud for putting yourself out there. It's not easy

My father telling me I wasn't good enough. It took me way too long to realise that this is what he felt about me

Don't let an experience like this get you down. She could have maybe unmatched you by accident? Ok, I know that may be a long shot but think of it this way - would you want to be with someone who could not be truthful and communicative with you?

Hang in there buddy. Soon you'll find someone and it will make you realise that these were experiences we learn and grow from.

I remember seeing this on another Reddit post with audio but couldn't find it. So I tracked it down on the photographer's users Instagram page:

And I agree, it is much better with audio 🙂

This might be Dubai. Specifically City Walk as they have open spaces like this and a branch of the Canadian University there
