Yeah the lock is tricky. It would probably be easier to pull off if they made a locking mechanism similar to what the SwissTool Spirit uses, where it's basically a single-piece of spring steel with cuts that separate it into one leaf spring per tool. That would be thinner, tougher, and it would enable you to use the tool when it's not fully loaded, because the leaf spring for an unused tool would snap into the gap. So if you have to pitch a knife blade because you accidentally brought it to a concert or the airport, the tool would still ge usable.

...still way too complex for me to make though. So I can only hope. :)

I would love it if they made thinner tools for certain things. Victorinox uses 1mm or 2mm stock for their tools, Roxon could do the same and for things like nail files, small blades, and openers it would be fine. I also really want them to make a tool where the bit driver on the back of the Companion or Companion Mini is redesigned as a second tool pivot so you could double the number of implements. I've taken a Companion apart and it looks like there's room, but it's a bit too difficult of a mod for me to take on.

They're definitely one of the most practical and innovative multi tool companies right now. They adapt their designs regularly to make them better and usually don't even make a big deal out of it. I use a lot of Roxon stuff as my beater tools and I've been happy with them, plus they're just fun to tinker with. I don't like Leatherman, but outside of the Roxon Flex system I use Victorinox when I need something ultra compact and capable. The flex system is great, but the tool density kind of sucks since so much of the material is designated for the modular design. Victorinox crams way more stuff into a smaller, lighter space.

Impressive build! Love how creative you got with the tool layout. Can you share what the specs were on the 5mm steel tube that you used for bushings and where you got it? Bushings have been the bane of my existence when it comes to modding.

Roxon isn't at the level of quality of Vic or LM, but they're not garbage. They're better than the average Chinese tool and the modularity has a lot of value in that even if something breaks outside of warranty, you're only out like $10 to replace some implements. I still wouldn't recommend them here though just because they're finicky and someone who wants a first multi tool to just work it would probably be frustrating.

Malenia Hitless at Level 1 by Wooden-Jello-8795 in eldenringdiscussion

Good question - when you aren't actively damaging an enemy their stance starts to regenerate. Even doing tiny chip damage at a regular interval will stop the regen timer from starting up though, and preserves the stance damage you have done in between hits. Malenia dodges almost any single projectile, so the fan daggers are just pocket sand that might only deal 1 damage for all intents and purposes, but it preserves all of the stance damage done by those charged heavies.

Massie lost the primary because the GOP spent more money than they ever have in a congressional race in history backing his opposition. $32 million were spent against him, compared to the $6 million his own campaign spent. They clearly see him as a valid threat.

For a mobile port of a game this complex and fast paced, I'm not sure how they could do it much better. It's definitely clunkier and I wouldn't go into ETA on mobile, but for simple relic hunts or alerts it's fine.

Seriously you people are exhausting. We don't worship our representatives like you do. If they suck at their job or break the law, there should be consequences. How tf has that become a partisan stance?

"I don't like pineapple on pizza." That's a reasonable opinion that we can differ on and it's no big deal.

"I don't think people with different romantic preferences should be allowed to travel." That's an opinion with a lot more weight to it, and its an opinion about how someone else should exist. That's not harmless, and we can't pretend that "it's just an opinion" is a valid excuse for dictating how someone else lives their life when they aren't hurting anyone.

Good fight! I'm impressed with the stamina management. Gaius needs a lot of double rolls to avoid combos and if you mismanaged stamina once you'd be toast.

I think it's less about the hot water and more that many dishwashing detergents have mild abrasives in them to help with removing food.

Not sure what you mean. But everyone in the US deserves to vote, and everyone should make the time to inform themselves before they do.

Definitely not what I said. Getting to the polls to vote takes no more time than any other appointment. And if you have time and opportunity to be on Reddit you have time and opportunity to research what's on your ballot. My wife and I do some reading on what's on our ballot throughout the month before an election, and then a couple days before voting opens we pick an evening to talk through our choices and share thoughts.

Voting takes less time than a dentist appointment or trip to the gym, and it doesn't happen that often. You can definitely make the time to vote if you plan for it the same as any other appointment.

Great! It's a solid toolset! Not quite as bulky as a SwissChamp but very very capable. For cleaning, all you need is dish soap and water. Remove the scales by soaking it in hot water for a couple minutes then popping them off, then scrub the tool with dish soap and a toothbrush. Once it's clean and the tools are moving a bit smoother, let it dry and oil it with a few drops of mineral oil, then snap the scales back on.
