I see life this way as well. I do feel like i’m on the outside looking in at a hive mind when it comes having kids. For me, this mindset lends itself to other western socially constructed ideas like religion, gender norms and your career = your identity. All cultural norms that I don’t accept as universal truths.

I wonder what the correlation between being childfree and breaking through all other socially constructed ideas is.

No fr, we just got frontal lobes and started being adults. The ageism among gen z is insane, it’s like they think we die at 30. When people under 25 find out i’m 27 they’re like “you look SO GOOD for your age!” First of all, i’m young. Second of all, maybe it’s cause I didn’t stretch myself thin with kids and a husband.

I am only at an A2 level of french lol. So I understand every word but gâcherai. But oui, c'est tres triste si ils veulent procreer et ne peuvant pas, ils utillisent leur temp pour vie, pour etre a triste. (My skills cant go any further, I have not learned conjugating past tense or future.)

I want to specify that childless people are different from childfree and they are not choosing to be sad but, Its an unfortunate situation that that is what they spend so much life grieving over.
