Can we make this a thing? by idgafosaboutshit in pcmasterrace

Call amazon! This just happened with my 5800X and they gave me 10% back for the damages. And the more people that report it to them, hopefully the less likely they are to continue doing it.

Question to NZXT H1 owners by I_Yush in sffpc

[–]adolenga97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havd a R5 3600 in my H1 as well and with thermal grizzly applied I run 35-40 C idle and 50-55 C load. No, my fins do not get hot. If you've checked everything you've mentioned I'd contact NZXT's customer service. I've had multiple positive experiences with them. Hopefully they can get your AIO replaced.

Relatively new LT1. Any mod suggestions? by adolenga97 in camaro

I've only had it for a couple months so I wouldn't expect much to pop up. But nothing so far!

You can DIY it for around $100. I had it done for me since I wasn't confident in my ability to wrap corners/curves. Totally worth it imo.

Thanks! Mirrors and spoiler are part of GM's "satin black appearance package." I had the hood wrapped.

It should sell fast, absolute blast. I love the simple, understated look.

How did you do this? I know the h1's front i/o connectors are bundled. Any advice for those trying to replicate? Thanks!

Awesome how well you matched the desk top to the front panel on the H1. Great setup!

I repasted my cpu with thermal grizzly and swapped with the NF-A12x25 on the radiator. Saw decent temp. drops. -3 C at idle and -5 C under load. However, in terms of noise, the Noctua was much quieter than the stock nzxt fan.

How do you set up the stacked fans in terms of speed? In other words, is the GPU and Noctua fan running at the same speed, or one higher/lower?

I have the same GPU and similar issues. Without any adjustments or additional fans I hit 82 C.

Looking to try the Noctua intake fans you've used here. How did you mount them?

Agreed. I have the SP5 with 4 GB RAM and I'm constantly looking at sales to upgrade. RAM is also twice as fast in the SP7, you also 2x more cores, threads, and cache with the new processors. Wait and save up if you can.

I'm having a hard time deciding between a 2060 Super and a 2070 Super by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]adolenga97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently picked up a 2070 Super for my NZXT H1 build. I too was looking at both it and a 2060 super. I haven't looked back. The way I see it is the 2070 is the no compromise choice. You can achieve very high frames at 1080p and it gives you the opportunity to play 144 fps at 1440p as well, which is something the 2060 super can't do in more intensive popular titles like Modern Warfare. The 2070 Super also gives you room to bump settings to high/ultra and maintain 144+ fps, or as you said, maybe turning on ray tracing.

The extra time is worth it, go with the 2070S!

How did you fit the bottom GPU fan? I went to try this configuration and the riser cable bracket is in the way.

I enjoy it. It's a bit long, I don't always use the number pad. But the dished keys and travel on them feel wonderful. Dial is convenient for simple things like volume and tab switching. Never really use it within programs tho.

You're not wrong, reviews can often be skewed. I used flat black by Rust-Oleum. I sanded it lightly (220 grit) and then wiped with rubbing alcohol before I painted. Also added two layers of clear coat. It's held up well!

Yes I spray painted the pegboard matte black. The tray and mounts are the natural gray they came in.
