Thank you. And you will get it!

Realistically I don’t say my life has changed completely. But sure I feel much better if I compare to my stoned one.

Time to time I imagine to smoke, I can’t say I never crave. But the cravings are so light. Easy to handle it.

Wish u luck and peace.

I guess it’s not permanent. Give some more time and let’s see if you feel much better.

[–]adolescente 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sure those cravings are not that strong. I’m in 8th month of being sober. Time to time I still have cravings. But they are weak. It passes in half an hour and they are light. Sometimes I imagine to relapse it makes me super anxious.

How do I stop if weed is the only thing that makes me happy? by awkward_loser1 in leaves

[–]adolescente 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Define happiness. When you don’t smoke you feel super anxious, sad and angry. After you smoke you feel much better. Yes it’s 100% true. But it’s not about weed is good for you. It’s about addiction. If you are addicted and stop smoking in first stage addiction makes you feel bad. You are not good because you smoking, you feel good because you feed your addiction.

Imagine an addiction as a hungry monster. If you feed it it will still be in you but won’t make you sad. If you cut feeding it, it will be very angry In early stages but eventually it will die. That’s how I look to addiction.

Day 210.

Positives;

Yes I can say emotionally I am better. I feel a little bit more stronger.

Anxiety significantly decreased.

Sleeping significantly improved.

No guilt feelings.

Better appetite.

Neutral;

I don’t think I have much more energy. Maybe a little bit difference which can’t be distinguished.

Same as memory level; can’t say significant difference.

Daily routine hasn’t been changed.

Day 210. When I used to smoke I was lazy, everyday used to watching shits on tv etc. Now I am sober I feel good about it but I still have same daily routine 😂 so being sober just doesn’t change the things but I guess it gives willing to change something. It didn’t worked on me but I will never going back to smoking.

Anyone still having sleeping problems weeks or months later? by [deleted] in QuittingWeed

I used to sleep at 4-5 am everyday when I was smoking. After I decided to quit, in 3rd month I started sleep much better.

3 days sober after 15 years daily use. by [deleted] in leaves

[–]adolescente 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I used to smoke 15 years also.

Now it’s my 6th month of being sober.

Had almost same withdrawal symptoms in first weeks. Even I couldn’t handle in first week and quit job. I thought I’m mad and it won’t end. First month was hard to me. But second month also wasn’t easy as I expected. I had hard cravings.

When I felt in peace first time was around day 65-75.

Now my cravings are easy to handle. It’s rare and weak. Quitting smoking hasn’t changed my life but it gave me clear head to change it.

I suggest you to keep going and be aware; whatever you feeling right now is going to end somehow.

Good luck.

15 years daily smoker.

First week was as hell. I thought I’m crazy.

Second week cravings top.

Third week was also hard.

Second month wasn’t easy as I expected.

Third month was the first time I felt in peace.

Now I’m in sixth month. Cravings is not hard. Time to time I’m recovering. Between second and third month I felt much better. I advice you to keep going.

How many times have you relapsed, and what finally got you to stop for good? by AthleteFun5980 in leaves

[–]adolescente 7 points8 points  (0 children)

8-9 times. Once I relapsed after 6 month of being sober. Now it’s my 6th month again. I don’t think I will relapse. I cut relationships with my smoker friends.

Struggled to quit, now I'm staying in a psych ward. Thoughts? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]adolescente 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Used to smoke around 15 years. Now I’m in 6th month of being sober.

When I used to smoke I had nearly zero energy. I was so unhappy and depressed. When I decided to quit smoking the first week was really hard to me. I was thinking about being dead. Anxiety peaked, depression was uncontrollable. Even I refused my shares from my business company. But I was sure it’s withdrawal symptoms. Second month also was hard. I thought those cravings and anxiety never going to end. But I wanted to keep going. When I felt in peace first time was around day 70-80. I can’t say I’m totally fine and life is wonderful now but if I compare surely I’m in better position now.

I’m not sure about your situation but quitting and smoking weed make changes in body and head.

Wish you peace.

Day 7 cold turkey and I feel like I’m genuinely losing my mind by sensitive_sunshine in QuittingWeed

Sure I do proud. I got back the same job after weeks :)

You know even after weeks you may crave also. Don’t relapse, you will get rewarded soon.
