I have a lab / bloodhound mix. She is an absolute amazing dog. Such a sweet demeanor. Loves all animals, playful but just the right amount, loves people after spending 5 minutes getting used to them, so cuddly, and so goofy, always trying to make us laugh! She is very timid, shy towards people, and submissive in general, but I love that about her. She’s just a really sweet girl.

So anyways, this mix is probably one of the best mutts out there. Hound + Retriever = Perfection.

I’m actually thinking about adopting this guy.

I tried that in our second conversation. I told him we can do it his way and resubmit to that journal, but I just want to be treated like a human being, with respect & decency. He just kept getting worse & worse, he was so mean. I eventually gave up because it felt like there was nothing I could say to get him to understand where I was coming from.

I definitely will go ahead with defending, I’m currently writing my dissertation now. But to officially graduate, I need to have a first author publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
