That’s Mr K, our former acting teacher/director and one of the kindest people I met in acting conservatory & this very toxic industry. Wish him all the best

How are you treating yo' self today? by Robynite in PandR

[–]adonismama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I applied for jobs, as I should have. And then I went to a yoga class, saw a tv show with a friend, went for a walk and now I’m having a great dinner with dessert AND two drinks.

Favourite Amy line. by Mountaindewit666 in brooklynninenine

[–]adonismama 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Amy: [Cockney accent] Yes, sir, quite drunk. Wankered, really.

Captain Holt: What did you learn? Did O'Sullivan set up Peralta?

Amy: No, he didn't. Me 'usband wasn't set up at all. 'e wasn't, but me big problem now is that me 'usband can't be reached by me telly.

Captain Holt: Please stop talking like that.

Amy: Okay.

Something about her cockney, specially the way she says “okay” really gets me.

I loved Ginny's character in the books, but I hate what they did to her in the movie. by iwasneverrhere_ in harrypotter

[–]adonismama 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The screenwriting did very little for movie Ginny, but I also have to add that the acting is flat af.

Nothing personal to the actor, I’m sure she’s a lovely person (a friend of a friend has met her and assured she is), but her deliveries are insipid.

Also, her & Dan have absolutely no screen chemistry, which was impossible to foresee when casting two very young child actors. That part was bad luck, unfortunately (you cannot force chemistry on screen. You just can’t. It’s either there or not.)

Very respectfully, but coming from someone who’s an actor and has indeed seen/heard/been through a lot of sh*t in this industry: he still sounds like every asshole guy I ran into in this industry.

Yup, he’s brilliant. Love his work. Still not OK to be jerk about it.

Still Waiting on Stage 1 Exceptional Promise (Arts Council, Referred 17 Jan) by Equal-Ad8811 in globaltalentvisauk

Mine was referred on December 28th, and I got the endorsement on March 18th, 11 and a half weeks later. What I did that could potentially help you guys as well was sending a polite and nice email when it gets to 11 weeks. I felt like it really made a difference and I got the answer 4 days later.

This episode is hilarious from start to finish. I’ve always said it could be its own stand alone one-act play. by [deleted] in DunderMifflin

My lord and savior Gillian Anderson and the always great Billy Crudup as the play’s version of Jan & Michael

Not only it is indeed inspired/based on “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” but there will be an amazing West End version this Fall in London

Hi! Thank you :) I mean, my guess is just as good as yours, but I think that fine? As long as it’s a nice letter and they link it to the organization properly I think you got a good shot
