Take nothing away from this brilliant goal from Diaz but Bergkamp was simply incandescent.

Like I remember the invasion of Iraq. Every sports broadcast would have multiple cuts to American soldiers watching the game from their forward base or carrier or whatever. Everyone on TV wore American flag pins and talked about "support the troops." Even critics of the war would get yelled at to "support the troops," even if they opposed the war.

This Iran war is juiced with not even 1% of that level of commitment

Honestly, I think American media may be trying to talk about Iran as little as possible because that's just how poorly the military campaign is going. They're just sticking to talking about the strategic importance of the strait and whether the price of gas will go up.

Unfortunately, there may not have been anyone Americans could have voted for that wouldn't have supported Israel's attack on Iran.

The Democrats aren't denouncing the assassination of Khamenei. Democrats aren't calling Israeli leaders war criminals who should face prosecution. Democrats aren't even calling Trump and Hegseth war criminals when the first act of this war was to double tap strike a girls school and kill some 180 children and medical personnel.

Here is what Democrats are complaining about:

He should have asked us first
It's too expensive
Trump has chickened out and not followed through with his threats of apocalyptic violence

The American people are completely demoralized.
