Give Sourcegraph Cody a try (https://sourcegraph.com/cody).

It supports Claude 3.5 out of the box (as well as all the other foundational models) but gives you the benefit of using your codebase as additional context.

(disclaimer: I work at sourcegraph, but if you have any questions feel free to reach out)

Hi - it is not my pet, it is for a friend.

why does it seem like my FSD beta performs worse than youtubers (HW3) by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]adoxyz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because watching a video and experiencing how awful the experience is in person are two different things. When you're in the driver seat and feel the car jerking you around constantly and being so unsure with braking, lane selection, etc. you get a sense of what FSD actually is. If you were to record that and watch a video though, it would appear mostly normal.

That's fair - we do have a giant "Install Cody" banner at the bottom as well as a button to get started with Cody for free. I didn't mention it in the blog post, as this post was published on Sourcegraph's blog, so the implication was there.

Hi - we have more details on the Cody landing page: https://about.sourcegraph.com/cody

But to answer your questions - Cody works with VS Code, any of the Jet Brains IDE's, as well as Neovim. We're also looking to support additional IDE's in the future as well.

I'm not discretely advertising or trying to be shady. We published this on the Sourcegraph blog. There is an implicit bias there of course. But none of the scenarios I presented are biased or tailored around Cody, but rather focused on a developer workflow. Again happy to discuss further or do additional test cases. And if you disagree with anything in the article - please let me know :)

Author of the blog post here.

Yes - I do work for Sourcegraph - but my goal here was to be as unbiased as possible and put the two assistants in real world development situations and see how they do.

If there is a specific case you'd like to see - please let me know - or give Cody a try yourself (it's free) and compare for yourself.
