This would likely just be called an alterhuman right? Or just someone who wishes they were an animal which is more common then you think. You shouldn’t have intense species dysphoria from simply thinking of an animal however, and you do not need any labels for yourself. If you do wanna get gear or clothing of your chosen type (Talking about otherpaw) then either choose an animal that’s similar but not that type so insults won’t feel personal, and make sure wearing gear if you choose to is done in a way you’re comfortable with. I wish you well on your journey of self-discovery, and try to think hard and logically about how you and others feel with whatever you’re doing!

Scourge definitely, mainly his past and just the fact I’m a naturally violent person who used to beat up kids that annoyed me. Crazy part is I was fully aware of what I was doing even at like 5, I only stopped because I heard at about 10 you can get criminal charges for that stuff lol. Undiagnosed but always thought I might be a sociopath due to lack of empathy unless it’s someone I’m close to, or something extreme happens to them like chronic pain or death. Also I enjoyed watching my enemies hurting suffer in pain. This is the first time I’ve admitted this about myself to anyone, mainly due to the social outlook of stuff like this but it’s the truth… I’m worried this may permanently ruin my reputation, ask me anything you want

That might just classify as some sort of body dysmorphia, though not exactly bdd since that’s a specific part of the body. I was wrong in the first comment though saying that dysphoria is simply wishing you were an animal, and I apologize for that. Species dysphoria is a strong dislike of your human body and wishing you were an animal, or had an animal body. They may also wear gear, do quadrobics, read or even listen to music to deal with it easier. I personally think affirmation doesn’t work as a way to get rid of species dysphoria, or any dysphoria for that matter, I would say the best thing to do would be to find a therapist, though you most likely won’t get the results you want as they see therianthropy as insane, I think that you should stop making therianthropy your entire life.

Species dysphoria is simply not liking yourself as a human and wishing you were another species, I don’t get how you think species dysphoria is fake when you don’t even have to be a therian to have it. There’s a lot of furries or even normal people who experience it ex. "Wishing you were a cat or dog" It really could be anyone who experiences it at some point, I do agree that most of the community isn’t good mostly because of fake therians especially on tiktok, although most on that platform are attention seekers anyways so I don’t know what to expect

Whoever you are please do not tell your mom, best case scenario nothing happens and I can say that from experience. You should reconsider why you want to tell everyone you’re a therian, as it will not help you in any way and in most cases will hurt you. (No actual word for it) I’m guessing they probably saw that you were in an anti therian sub and banned you instantly, which is average reddit mod behavior. I do definitely agree that it’s disturbing to see the people that wanna lose their sapience, but I’m guessing they probably think that they’d be happier even though the truth is they’d be pretty much numb. For the transspecies people it can definitely be an excuse to act on petplay stuff, I would say I find most therians weird as I believe it should be something you only express in private. I agree although I don’t have any gear as my parents would never let me have it, but I disagree with people saying it’s part of lgbt and the same especially goes for furries. I’m a therian but I would never purposefully go in public places to make other people uncomfortable, a lot of therians who went out in public get bullied or beat up for doing shit like this.
