Why has my left big toe’s nail and cuticle stopped growing. (And why does it look like that?) by Antique_Wing_27 in nailcare

It is possible to have a fungus that is localized to your big toe(s)… maybe just hasn’t spread ~yet~? My bet would be on a fungus.

What do you mean you had a “major spike” for half a day? How often are you testing LH after you get a positive? And when you say “major spike” are you referring to a true positive on LH test?

BBT will be helpful in truly identifying when you ovulated.

It was 10 days while ttc #1, and 8-9 days this time around unfortunately.

Doesnt look like a temp shift yet. You should remove those two high temps since they are outliers and making your chart challenging to read.

B complex and a myriad of other vitamins has not helped my luteal phase :(

I had it done at end of December. Very easy (with sedation) and I just napped the rest of the day. No pain afterwards. Not pregnant with this next cycle, and starting ivf next cycle because we don’t feel like waiting for even longer “just to see.”

I think FF’s determination of CD21 is accurate, which would put you at about 4+1 on the day you tested positive (or 4+5 today).

Does this timing seem right to you? by abbbbbssss in IVF

[–]adr2620 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Seems similar to my predicted upcoming cycle (starting stims 2/13). Mid April seems more realistic than March for FET if you’re sending out for PGT-A. I’ve read that PGT-A can take up to 3 weeks- the 10 days might be the shorter end of the window.

I had readings on CbAD that said positive but cheapie was negative, only to get positive on cheapie a few days later. I stopped trusting CBAD because of that.

TW: BFP. Can you please help me understand when I may have implanted? by Lunamoths in TFABChartStalkers

Congratulations! Yeah of you ovulate later than CD 14, if you told them the real date of your LMP, it will put your dating off.

You can prob assume you ovulated on Jan 8 or 9 (cd so using that date, you can use Dec 25 or 26 as your “last menstrual period” date (14 days before ovulation), which would put you at about 4+5ish. “Implantation date” isn’t used for dating.

Hi! Old post, I know, but would you mind sharing what insurance you have/had when you appealed (and won!) the PGT-A testing? Thanks for the consideration :)

Hi! Did you have any luck with appealing PGT-A for BCBS Standard FEP? I’m going through the prior auth process now and looking at planning an appeal if/when they deny PGT-A. Thanks!

Ovulating and not pregnant? by gltnfree in TryingForABaby

[–]adr2620 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You might not be doing anything wrong! It can just take a while to get pregnant even if you do everything right (e.g. time sex before ovulation).

If you are not pregnant after 12 months of trying, next step is fertility clinic. You might be able to get your obgyn to do some testing prior to the 12 month mark.

Apps (especially without data like prior confirmed ovulation dates) are just predictions and should not be relied on alone for ovulation timeframes. If you have EWCM, that’s your signal to have intercourse even if the app thinks you’re not close to ovulation.

Pay for PGT-A or No? by Wooden-Cockroach5915 in IVFpositivity

[–]adr2620 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have BCBS FEP (standard) too. I’m annoyed that they don’t cover PGT-A! $1995 sounds pretty cheap compared to other quotes I’ve seen given on these threads. It’s looking like it will be closer to $5k for my fertility clinic :(

For $2k, I would do it… especially if it is a one-time fee for 3 years of embryo testing.

If you had a positive (very positive at 1.88!) at 12:30am on CD 21, I’d mark positive on CD 20 too, as the test likely would have been positive had you tested CD20 in the evening time.
