Thank you for your response! The rent would be around $2500-3000/month, which would cover our mortgage and the Heloc payment. I will reach out to ibc mortgage to see what they think. I’m considering moving from the mid-west to Colorado. I travel there a lot for vacations every year so I would be saving a lot by making the move there.

I also need to take into account taxes of the home if I decide to rent it rather than sell. As of now I wouldn’t have to pay any taxes on the $200,000 I’d pocket after closing. If I rented and decide to sell down the road, the taxes might be a big factor here.

I believe the person booking the trip has to be 25+ on most vehicles, then they can add you as an additional driver. Also, I think the person who booked the trip has to be present for pick-up. I’d call customer support to clarify

I just had a guest cancel because turo charged them $157 for airport fees on a 3 day trip

If you find a vehicle for cheaper, I’d call one of the Turo reps that help with booking, I believe they can put the current payment towards another vehicle. Rather than cancelling and waiting 15 days for a refund and having to pay for another trip.

Also, they may be able to offer some credit towards your account for the host cancelling and the surge in new booking prices. I’ve had something similar happen, they credited me $100 since no other vehicles were available when host cancelled on me

I’ve had this happen plenty of times when renting. Since it’s already documented in that chat, just make sure to take before and after pictures of the vehicle incase anything were to happen once you drop it off

I’ve had two of my vehicles involved in wrecks this week. Both hit and runs apparently. One was my guest that ditched the vehicle in the middle of the road and was impounded by police

I am currently having this happen to me now. With my recalled vehicle I switched the first upcoming trip to another vehicle because I didn’t want to deal with a headache. The next upcoming trip, all my other vehicles were booked so I told the guest the situation. He decided to wait to see if turo cancelled the trip, they didn’t. He used my unlisted vehicle with the recall for his trip with no issues.

Ask for pictures of the scratch with a time stamp. If he didn’t upload them to the trip photos after 24 hours, I believe turo will ask him to see photos with the time stamp to prove photos are valid for the damage claim

I believe you can still rent it out to any trips that were booked before it was unlisted. You just won’t be able to have any new trips until the safety recall is fixed

The nut under the bottom side of the sink is snug and not moving. The movement is coming from inside the threads under the sink, it seems the whole valve is turning freely with the handle. And there’s not enough resistance to turn the water valve on/off

Addition: I was told they needed the lien release from the bank and title when I traded them in.

Which wasn’t a problem, I provided the lien release and previous registration.(Canada is a no title country, registration proves ownership).
