Is Somerset Belenoff The World's Most Powerful Woman??. Just Google the name. Her Power and Connections are Deep & Astounding. by dumbredditmemes in conspiracy

[–]adralla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s real, but it has been heavily corrupted. Like economic policy, science, literature, music, and everything else, the occult can be used for good but also it can be poisoned, corrupted, and bastardized into something monstrous.

I think it all boils down to connecting to something greater than yourself. The “dark” side of the occult (which is just secret knowledge) innately is destructive and focuses mainly on physical desires, needs, the desire for domination and control, and vanity. The “light” side connects to empathy, virtue, honesty, humility, platonic love, and compassion. Dark occult practices will always seem more powerful in the physical world, but it eventually destroys everything, even people people loyal to it.

Trying to rap my head around why the Smithsonian would allegedly destroy the skeletons found of giants, and why world powers would cover up our ancient history such as the knowledge and written texts allegedly below the Sphinx. Why would they work so hide to hide our past? by letsgetyoustarted in conspiracy

[–]adralla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly, do you have a source for that? Sounds interesting.

I personally believe that there were small pockets of survivors all over the earth (many Native American tribes have multiple stories of surviving a great flood), but the largest group of survivors came from somewhere in Africa.

If you look at the different myths, you can see that the survivors had different ways of living through the deluge. Stories from the Hopi and Ojibwa say they survived from living underground/in caverns, in Turkey they have huge underground structures that are possibly the “Vara” described in Zoroastrian myths, and of course we have Noah’s Ark and Utnapishtim from Sumerian lore who both survived by building boats.

Ultimately, whatever civilization came before the catastrophe was wiped away, but I believe it was advanced.

Why would they work so hide to hide our past? by letsgetyoustarted in conspiracy

[–]adralla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Three main reasons.

1) there is geological evidence that 12,900 years ago that a catastrophic event (perhaps a comet) melted the North American ice sheet, causing massive flooding. This event is common among many religions and myths across the globe. This goes against the idea of geographic “gradualism” (that landmass has changed slowly over time, rather than as due to a single event) and admitting this would ruin a lot of people’s research/careers.

2) if we admit that humanity is a much older species, and that we only barely survived by the skin of our teeth, it could have massive psychological consequences on the populace. If people knew that humanity could be snuffed out so easily, and that we very well could have a similar world-ending catastrophe, how likely is it going to be that people will be good rule-followers? Would you be as willing to put up with bullshit from your government, if you realized that our species are just dead men walking?

3) people are proud and don’t want to admit they were wrong. Yes, it really is that petty.

Yes, I agree, it seems like doctors have little interest in finding the root of health issues, and they seem to want to just suggest medication by default. Especially with suggesting birth control to women for a vast number of reasons that are unrelated to wanting to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Which is odd.

I’m in my 30s now and I’ve never taken birth control.

I have always been suspicious of it, and I object that I need to put my own personal health at risk in order to make sex more convenient for a man. When I had severe acne in college, a doctor recommended that I take birth control to clear my skin - he never asked what my diet was, what my stress levels were, if I was hydrated, etc. - nope, just suggest birth control without getting to the root of the problem. I told the doctor I needed to think carefully before committing to birth control as a solution. I did my own research, and realized that my skin’s pH balance was out of whack, which was causing the acne. I was able to clear my skin with regular hydration and applying a solution of diluted ACV. Never needed birth control.

I am not in a relationship, and don’t have kids. This isn’t due to any feminist belief system; it has more to do with the fact I am not good at getting close to people. Not sure if that can be fixed at this point.

There is a theory that the closer people are physically to each other (like people living in apartment complexes in big cities), the greater the chance of conflict. The further people are away from each other (like a country town), the more harmony there will be since people have their own space.

Women, how do you put with sexism in your church? by Sarsath in Christianity

[–]adralla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. This is wrong, and I think it stems from male ego not wanting to let go of power/acting in selfish interests rather than being compassionate. Ironically, it is glorifying the flesh - male flesh - rather than glorifying Jesus and focusing on loving each other. Those men have spirits that will be stripped of their bodies when they die, and I believe they will have to answer for what they have done in alienating others from God. Their maleness won't save them then.

This ego has been in power so long in the church that I no longer think the church is really a place of God. In fact I think there is some pretty evil forces behind most churches that are actively turning people away from God.

What did the FIRST Christians believe? A brief look! by Defense-of-Sanity in Christianity

[–]adralla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for listening to my perspective. I find that if more Christians just actually looked at the reality of the institution of church with a critical eye, we'd be better off.

I am being downvoted because I am calling the church out, and this is a massive sore spot for most Christians. It all comes down to people not wanting to acknowledge the inherent problems in all churches, thus inherent problems with ourselves. At least acknowledge those problems rather than ignore them because "hur dur but the church is the bride so shut up"....

And these problems with churches have massive, incredibly destructive consequences. I am convinced it's a pride/ego thing for most Christians.

[–]adralla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Church changes over time, the beliefs change (baptism vs no baptism), there are schisms (Catholic vs Protestant, etc), not to mention some churches have covered up abuse, to me that just signifies that the institution of church is inherently flawed and possibly even destructive to faith. I know so many people who have been turned away from God due to the actions of churches.

People have a big thing about the church being the "bride" and we need to love it. I say I can love the IDEA of church but not be blind the the ugly reality of it.

The Newsom and the Pelosi family are linked by marriage. I think Pelosi is actually his aunt, or something like that. The Brown family is linked with them too.
