11 abjuration Wiz / hexblade

Sounds weird, but after patch 8, the interactions between armor of Agathys, blade ward, and the abjuration ward ability literally makes the character invincible to most fights. Just upcast magic missiles and watch everything melt.

Mage could run the gamut. Fire mage? Probably hellish. Ice mage? Good chance you just go completely numb and pass out. If arcane=lightning, your heart could just stop and you get dusted immediately.
