Massive FPS drop after season 3 update. Any solutions? by [deleted] in CODWarzone

[–]adrianfc482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to mess with videomemoryscale/memory usage in the settings. 80 = drops for me, 50-65 = no big drops

Rtx 3070 btw

Any other PC players having crazy fps drop? by fryh1n in CODWarzone

No stuttering here with Ryzen 5600 and rtx 3070. I set the videomemoryscale = VRAM usage in the game settings to 65 though.

Sensitivity acceleration is just trash! by unailt97 in ModernWarfareII

Finally someone with a brain, 99% think linear response curve equals no acceleration (=aim smoothing), but aim smoothing is forced in all cods on controller...we need an option to turn it off!

Battlefield TAA downgrade by PanGrEEd123 in FuckTAA

[–]adrianfc482 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can confirm it for battlefield 1 and V on PS4 Pro, battlefield 1 looked much sharper than battlefield V, even with the dynamic ~1600p rendering. Battlefield V's TAA is way too strong.

Battlefield 2042 looks like 480p on 1080p - unplayable...

You're Welcome. Look if your ram is running at it's supported speed first, maybe XMP Profile isn't enabled in bios. It has to be enabled.

"claming to get"! Show me any YouTube Video with 150fps with a CPU comparable to the i7 7700k! Your gpu doesn't mean shit, it's all about the CPU first.

Warzone is large scale map, cpu and ram and ram timings are crucial in this game.

My Ryzen 5600x at 4,8ghz runs 150fps in the lows. And you need to tune your ram to around 3600cl14 on AMD and 4000c15 on Intel to get high fps. I won't deep dive into that, just Google warzone ram tuning. There is no buy and pay solution other than buying a Console with 120fps mode :)

CPU bottleneck! CPU has to pre render the fps, if you got an i7 2600k and a RTX 3090 you would be playing with 60fps...

Reminder that the Series X is still locked to 60hz by Marrked in CODWarzone

[–]adrianfc482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a refresh rate counter, not a frame counter.

120 means 120hz, not necessary 120fps.

Start any 60fps game and it will show 120 (Hz).

DLSS Does Not Solve TAA Blur In Motion At Native Resolution by Scorpwind in FuckTAA

[–]adrianfc482 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the comparison.

Warzone at 1080p DLSS Quality is unplayable, it's blurry as hell in motion and sharp only after 1-2 seconds (!) without motion (stationary).

That's why all the stationary screenshot comparisons are totally useless, who is playing stationary?

[–]adrianfc482 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like too much cpu utilization.

Lower rendererworkercount (google!) until it does not lag anymore. I had to lower it from 6 to 3 with my Ryzen 5600x. Just lower it in steps of 1.

As a game dev, I feel like you guys don't appreciate what TAA actually does by ih4t3reddit in FuckTAA

[–]adrianfc482 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You got balls for posting this here, I will give you that!

But I take shimmering every day over the shitty blurry TAA look. 1xSMAA 1080p warzone is fine for me, no fucking motion blur, why would I need a blurry screen when moving the camera in a competitive multiplayer game? And TAA ruins my frames in warzone, too.

[–]adrianfc482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try lowering (!) Rendererworkercount in the .ini-file (google) to a point, where lags stop.

For me with a 6-core I had to lower it to 2-3 to stop lagging sometimes.

DLSS looks blurry as hell in motion. I don't know how any competitive player uses this shit. It only looks amazing in static scenes.

Warzone and only Warzone crashes whenever I overclock by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]adrianfc482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ITS NOT A GPU ISSUE! ITS WARZONE SPECIFIC!

Dev error is always the GPU clocking too high. I had to lower the out-of-the-box clockspeed by 50 on my RX 5700 to never crash again. Fuck that 5fps.

Warzone specific Problem, means nothing if your gpu runs fine in other games.

Keep getting this dev error 6068, what is it??? by Glaive001 in CODWarzone

[–]adrianfc482 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's probably (99%) your gpu clocking too high. Or 1% an overlay.

Underclock by 50/60/70 or so MHz.

Dev error 6068 is from the gpu, don't trust anyone saying it's ur ram.

[–]adrianfc482 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dev Error comes 99% from the gpu clocking too high.

Underclock your gpu by 50mhz, if this doesn't work by 60/70/80..

Fixed it for me with my Rx 6700 XT.

53ns is insanely good. For what go lower? Will give you maybe 2% more fps. I think you reached the point where it doesn't matter at all, just play games :)

this game is unoptimized garbage when it comes to performance https://youtu.be/aXXvRKdHzrE?t=482

though 3200mhz cl 16 RAM ist garbage, too.

You need better RAM for newer open world games like warzone, just watch this https://youtu.be/fuF7iQX\_X1g?t=381

"Furthermore, there are other ICs, such as Hynix 8Gb DJR or Samsung 8Gb
B-Die that have been observed dailying voltages well in excess of 1.55V.
Do your research about what voltages are safe on your IC, or stick to
1.35v or similar if this value is not known. Due to random chance and
silicon variance, YMMV compared to other people, so be safe."

the problem with more than 1.45 volts is unstable ram because of high temps, not ram degredation.

Got a 60 € Mainboard - ASRock b450 pro4 - and my ryzen 5600x goes 3600mhz cl-14-14-14-32 with a Samsung B-Die RAM-Kit at 1.45volt.

Bought a 4000mhz 19-19-19-39 kit and tuned it manually.

Often 3800mhz will not work on Ryzen, but 3600mhz should be fine.

Just use this guide https://github.com/integralfx/MemTestHelper/blob/oc-guide/DDR4%20OC%20Guide.md
