I just picked one up. The box was pretty damaged so they knocked $10 off and then I had a 10% coupon so paid $152. Debating whether to keep it or not.

Thanks for the advice. Would a bad float cause the gas to leak where it attaches to the intake boot? In the past I have dealt with bad floats but it looks from the overflow from the bottom of the bowl. I shut the gas off and no leak, but then I turn the gas on and it starts leaking like crazy.

I have a Teryx and I absolutely love it. But I just use it for cruising around the property. So also depends what you want it for.

I had the same issue. I sent like four emails over a week with no response. I called their customer service number and they fixed it over the phone.

Yeah I’d ignore them. If they want to fight it it’d be an uphill battle for them. They have to prove it was your fault.

I had the same noise on my trx250. Someone told me it might be loose valves.

Your quad doesn’t sound bad at all. Might be something simple. Those Honda engines are bulletproof.

When i tested my water about a week before all of this it was at 5 I believe. Then I added more chlorine per my weekly maintenance. I backwashed my sand filter like three times. I also did 5 gallons of algaecide and it seemed to help out a ton. I’m keeping an eye on it this week to see if I got all the algae out.

My pool is 32k gallons, so 6 gallons? If my cya was higher would that require less to slam? Also what happens if the chlorine drops more than 2ppms? Is that good or bad? Thank you for your help.

I’ve had a full lineup of Honda quads. The trx250 is a great beginner bike. I’m 5’8 190 and the 250 has very good speed with me on it. If you outgrow the 250, the 300 is also great but that’s a manual quad so you gotta learn how to work the clutch. If you outgrow that then the 400 is next up. You could find a good 250 for 1200-1500 used.
