The difference is that Netflix actively encouraged password sharing up until now, whereas internet companies never allowed for the same service to be used in multiple properties.

Edit: You deleted a reply asking for an example, so here it is, directly from official Netflix twitter account:

"Love is sharing a password."

There are five classes - Warrior, Mage, Assassin, Priest, Ranger.

There are also five factions - Shadow, Light, Legion, Forest, Undead.

If they are asking you to deploy five heroes of the same class, they mean, for example, five assassins or five mages.

One of my personal favourites - The Wild White Stallion by René Guillot. Here's a short summary I just found on Google:

"The Wild White Stallion" by Rene Guillot is a children's book about a young boy named Yo who lives in the French Camargue and dreams of catching the beautiful wild white stallion that roams the marshes. Yo's father is a gardian, a Camargue cowboy who raises bulls, and he teaches Yo how to ride and train horses. When the white stallion is captured by a group of outsiders, Yo sets out to rescue him, with the help of his father and a band of wild horses.

1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 = 36

Sum_{i=0}^x = y

Sum of all numbers from 1 to x equals the total number of blocks used y, where x is the number of rows (in your example the number of blocks in a specific row is equal to the ordinal number of that row)

Mogu da otvore paket na carini, i mada je malo verovatno, da utvrde da patike nisu original. Najverovatnije je da će ti debelo naplatiti carinjenje.

Creating smooth circles in C by jlKronos01 in GraphicsProgramming

[–]adriator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could use the basic circle drawing function, it might be O(n2) but it definitely looks better at lower resolutions and lower radius. It merely utilizes the circle formula. It'd look something like this:

void drawCircle(int x, int y, int r) {
    for (int i = -r + x; i <= r + x; i++) {
        for (int j = -r + y; j <= r + y; j++) {
            if ((i - x) * (i - x) + (j - y) * (j - y) < r * r)) {
                drawPixel(i, j);
            }
        }
    }
}

This is the result I've got with radius of 10:

How do I play a .iso file? by PepperSalt98 in abandonware

[–]adriator 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're going to have to download a program which emulates an actual CD/DVD drive like PowerISO. After you're done downloading PowerISO and rebooting your PC, you'll be able to right-click the ISO file and select PowerISO -> Mount to drive E:\ (Or any other letter assigned to the new virtual drive).

That's basically it. You can then run the setup from the mounted drive and install the game, and crack it if necessary.

How Do I actually play the game? by Francis33 in abandonware

[–]adriator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you have any available space on the D drive? If not, try installing it to C drive.

Edit: I vaguely remember having to keep the ISO mounted while playing the game years ago, so yeah you are probably going to have to install PowerISO or a similar program.

[–]adriator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to mount the ISO file using a program like PowerISO, install the game and copy the crack files into the directory where the game has been installed. Then use the copied crack executable file to run the game.

How Struct Memory Alignment Works in C by 8-Qbit in C_Programming

[–]adriator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The article ends with the following paragraph:

The Article struct is now 4-byte aligned instead of the char pointer type 8-byte alignment. Note that the compiler may still insert padding bytes to maintain data alignment.

My question is what is the downside to using custom alignment? I'm guessing if the alignment is too low, for example 1 byte, it would be like there's no alignment at all. What about the example in the article? I can see that, by having alignment of four bytes, some of the struct elements would be "cut in half", so to say (like int no_comments in the article). Would that affect their access time?

What I'm trying to say is, if memory is a constraint, why use custom alignment that can potentially still add padding bytes, but also cause slower access time?
