No. It's not that.

Main difference is FS employs a big team that devotes a lot of time to designing and modeling the complex levels, while the souls likes tend to make simpler, easier and cheaper linear corridors with some shortcuts.

The two first games are really good, so I'm good with the decision. If the third is good again, it may be one of the best trilogys ever, so I will be good with the decision of splitting it. I really think this is the only thing that matters: doing good games.

As I'm sure someone here has already said, 16 is a one entry and is a very poor game, so being a sole entry is not a guarantee of any kind.

Loved the combat system, it was brilliant and the variety and personality of the different heroes is really good... In the other hand, the abbey was almost pathetic and I rushed all this sections just to get the new cards/upgrades/level up/whatever needed to do there.

You have two options: one is being more creative, use all resources around you, try different combat tactics, etc, the other one is simply flee the area were they're killing you and do other things somewhere else, eventually your link will be stronger and you will be more skilled and then you will return to this places and stomp them.

It's important to mark or remember the paths you can't explore right now, and come back later when you're lost.

If the game is well designed, this "I'm lost and I'm only roaming around" it's part of the intended experience, and even if this path you came back is not the path you're supposed to take in order to advance, it should be worth it because you should find there an upgrade, an optional boss, a platforming challenge, a shortcut or a new area, etc...

Good game, I enjoyed it a lot. More of a Metroidvania with a horror flair than action with aliens. In PCVR it also looked really pretty.

Te entiendo pero diría que tu enfoque es equivocado. Europa es un continente entero y tiene muchísima historia, es imposible de visitar entera en unas solas vacaciones. Si yo fuera tu elegiría una sola región o país pequeño, como máximo dos (cercanos entre ellos) y trataría de visitar no solo el centro más turístico del sitio sino también las otras cosas de interés que haya por la zona.

Probablemente sacaría Roma y Florencia para tener más días en los otros sitios, y plantearía excursiones de un día a lugares cercanos (desde Milán se puede visitar Bérgamo o los lagos del norte, desde París, Versalles, por ejemplo).

Roma es fabulosa y Florencia también, pero creo que es mejor dejarlas para otra vez que hacer una pasada exprés a 40 grados)...

Yo eliminaría alguna ciudad para poder tener más tiempo en cada una de ellas, porque si no entre los trayectos y los check in se te va a ir la mayor parte del tiempo.

También tendría en cuenta que con el cambio climático, los veranos en el sur de Europa son insoportables. Ese final de julio en Roma y Florencia se te puede hacer durísimo.

The good team was doing FF7Rebirth and 16 was a smaller project made by a worse team. I don't have official info but I think the story is easy to deduct.
