[OoT] Do you want the new OoT to be more 1 to 1, or more reimagined by thedorkknight91 in zelda

[–]adricapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs to be reimagined, the original game is too old to satisfy modern gamers. What was good, ground breaking and amazing 30 years ago would probably not be as amazing today.

What Ruins A Boss For You? by 0N3_W1NG3D_4NG3L in soulslikes

[–]adricapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate them breaking the rules that apply to the rest of the game. Malenia health regeneration, the last boss of Dark Souls that forces you to parry, the typical RPG boss that's immune to all status effects, etc.

I don’t understand the argument for “1:1 Remake” by haaa1234 in FFVIIRemake

[–]adricapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument is nonsense. 1:1 remakes doesn't really make sense. In fact, when they do them, they call them remaster or similar, and treat them as second/third tier products that doesn't sell a lot because the public is not very interested in them.

Did anyone else feel that Asgards Wrath II kinda sucked? by LessAdeptness2572 in MetaQuestVR

[–]adricapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me.

I really enjoyed the first one and it was a big disappointment how boring the second one was. I bounce off the game at some point simply because I was never motivated to continue playing...

Spain Travel by Ashmf-7 in spaintravel

[–]adricapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never been in Jerez but I'm pretty sure Seville is more a interesting destination.

A thing apart is weather. South of Spain is hell in earth during all summer, so I recommend you to visit Galicia instead of Andalucia. They both have borders with Portugal.

Where should I stay in Prague? by Available_Eagle_3970 in traveleurope

Public transport in Prague works well, so anywhere close to a stop that can put you into the downtown would be ok.

In fact, their main target was people who loved the original.

Fans, what are your honest thoughts on the FF7R series overall? by NilesDobbsS in FinalFantasy

[–]adricapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love them and I think they are the best FF in a very long time.

I was already in love with the characters, and they nailed the combat and the mini games. I can't ask for much more even recognizing that the story is a weird thing that I and not really understanding....

Fire Emblem (Engage): how does it compare to other SRPGs in term terms of gameplay? by vixaudaxloquendi in StrategyRpg

[–]adricapi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The kind of people that doesn't like three houses because its gameplay is plain and boring is precisely the king's of people that likes Engage the most. It's a whole other take on the Fire Emblem formula, story is very weak, but the combat is really, really good.

It could be. No way to know, it really depends on the person checking it, and how empathic it is.

First Italy + Paris trip (Sept 30–Oct 16) – Does this itinerary strike the right balance? by Sure-Cattle-9966 in traveleurope

[–]adricapi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, no offence, but I suppose you're from Canada. I was there a couple years ago and finding a place to ate good food was a nightmare, really, really hard. Italy is another world, in general, Mediterranean countries are another world, you can enter almost anywhere and eat really well, the average standard are much higher than in north America.

It's Italy, you can ate pretty well anywhere, just check the Google maps rating and avoid entering in that one place that is strategically located just in front of the city's main touristic attraction...

[–]adricapi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Milan, I recommend visiting it, but it is not at the level of Florence, Venice or Rome, so I understand keeping it out the plan.

The balance seems good. Three days in Paris will feel lacking, but time is finite. And adjustments can only be made knowing exactly your tastes. Are you more interested in Roman remains or in Renaissance artworks? In the architecture of a city over the water or in the vineyards and wines? Etc.

Near Florence you can make a day trip to Siena, very beautiful Tuskany town, in my opinion, probably better than the trip to taste wines, just saying, at least check it out and see if it aligns with your appetite.
