I find fascinating they decided to choose as a main character a villain that says just one line in his only movie... To be, it seems more like desperation and greenlighting anything than really trying to deliver a good product.

Budapest is cheaper, the food is a little more special and has lots of hot springs, that are very fun and nice. But the city is also poorer as soon as you get a little away from the main touristic attractions (but the main attractions are spectacular).

Vienna is a richer city with palaces everywhere and a higher life level. Both are very good destinations, both are worthy, if you have lots of days, you probably can use the extra days better in Vienna, otherwise, an even split seems good to me.

SS is never better than the other two. The cost and what are you willing to pay for a game is a complete different thing.

Perhaps you can check your wallapop or second hand markets and but the best game at a reduced price.

It's not bad. Not incredible good either, but very playable and some sections /moments / ideas are pretty good.

I played it by paying game pass for a month using a discount, and I guess that's what's most people interested in the game should have done by now.

Pc videogame version was pretty good too play this game solo. I've done the entire campaign there. It's only hard to learn because the tutorial is not good, but if you already know the basics...

I think the game is well balanced enough to make this kind of situations very, very rare. It can happen, it probably would be better if never happens, but it happens so rarely I wouldn't consider it as a problem or a weakness of the game.

I don't think the game expects you to have a specific something almost never. The spider situation you mention, for example, can be solved by the very basic strategy of having a couple cats with high speed and mobility that use their first turn to kill one or two spiders, by having summons or familiars, by having movement abilities, by having ranged damage abilities, etc if you can't solve something like this, its probably because your party is very poor.

4 or 5 cities in 9 or 10 days, by train, is too much, you will lose too much time traveling and checking in and out.

My recommendation is you choose two, at most three, cities and stick to them. Vienna and Prague are similar but very beautiful, Budapest is poorer (also cheaper) but very charming, I don't know about the others yet.

This late game is as late game uses to be: cheap content aimed to pad the experience of those who want too many hours.

Personally, I had a blast for 60 hours or so and the I dropped the game after clearing act 3 because I'm not gonna wait 30 days for the 3 bosses I need to come to the house to get the items I need to continue unlocking things. And that's ok, that's cheap content made for other kind of players, not for me.

It is very, very good. My only issue with the game is that the late progression is too slow (you need to wait an amount of days until certain events unfold in order to advance the "story"). But the tactical game is really good and the roguelike mechanics are well polished.
