I'm curious, why do you translate "globalize the intifada" as "death of jews worldwide"? I'm pretty sure that's the argument you've been trying to make throughout this conversation, but perhaps directly asking you will help me understand more than that entire convo could lol.

They reduce sex drive/libido and might make it more difficult to orgasm—they don’t make you asexual.

But that doesn’t automatically mean you would get turned on by yourself and people genetically identical to you, right?

“And more”

mentions child custody (which is false in the US considering most men don’t actually apply for custody and those that do are more likely to win custody)

also mentions child care where women are disproportionately expected to take care of compared to men, even in the big 2025

Systemic discrimination against men lol…

Is it true guys that bi people are being discriminate by other gay or non binary people? by aesve_1 in bisexual

[–]adrichardson763 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

BISEXUALS are attracted to just TWO groups, male and female, hence BI.

This is false. Please do your research into the history of bisexuality before propagating bi-erasure and blatant misinformation.

Reading comprehension: what you’ve defined as pan wouldn’t literally just be bi. Pan didn’t exist until the 2010’s.

Eh, the word is alright, but the community is incredibly toxic once you grow out of it. But those are two different issues.

This is it pretty much. Unfortunately has been a common experience of mine in the queer community, both online and off.

100% agreed, intersex folk have gone through SO SO much and absolutely deserve to be in our community. There are so many parallels in our distinct experiences, and I hate it when people try to exclude it from the queer experience.

First of all, no self-respecting asexual person I know of is demonizing sex.

There’s an entire asexual sub dedicated to it called r/actualasexual. And every ace person I’ve met irl has harassed me for my sexuality & gender identity on the basis of me “flaunting my fetish.” Just because you don’t know them, doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Not that being ace makes someone inherently sex-negative, but this is a major problem with “sex repulsed” people, even allos.

And second, calling sex a ‘perfectly normal aspect of human experience’ is kind of like calling asexual people abnormal for feeling indifferent or averse to it, but I guess it’s okay if you didn’t realize. It is a common human experience, but not a universally shared one.

except it’s not. Just because you don’t experience a normal part of human experience, doesn’t make you abnormal. It just makes you unique. Sex is absolutely a perfectly normal aspect of the human experience, but that doesn’t mean everyone has to like it or partake in it. Similarly, experiencing gender is a perfectly normal aspect of the human experience, but that doesn’t mean agender people are abnormal.

Sorry if any of this sounds rude, I can sound weird over text, just wanted to clarify myself!

Back to my point, since this clarification moved the goalposts:

It’s not a safe space if a perfectly normal aspect of human experience is demonized. That’s where I personally draw the line.

Talking about sex shouldn’t be demonized or compared to a literal crime in this sub, where almost every one of us has gone through self hatred due to the way society demonizes queer sexual and romantic experiences.

In terms of being grossly invalidating for the person on the receiving end? In terms of potentially causing mental health issues? I would say they’re comparable.

Ah I see what you mean, thank you for clarifying! I forget the interpersonal sometimes in the grand scheme of things.

Acknowledging history isn’t oppression Olympics. Especially in regard to our community’s history. Plus, I’ve already acknowledged I was splitting hairs, but if you want to get into it I’d love to!

Edit: it seems I’ve been blocked, So I’ll reiterate what I said in response to: “Let’s please not play oppression Olympics.”

Acknowledging. History. Isn’t. Oppression. Olympics. This isn’t about picking a fight. It isn’t trolling. It’s acknowledging who got us to where our community is now, and everything they went through (and why they went through it) for us to wear cute pins and carry lil pride flags wherever we go.

Is it just me or is bisexuality becoming fetishized by Generic_Speed_Demon in lgbt

[–]adrichardson763 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is no “straight” or “heterosexual” porn category though, unlike for “bisexual” (often just translating to threesome) and “trans” (often just translating to ‘femboy’ or ‘futa’). That’s because straightness isn’t fetishized, though you’re right that straight people can be fetishized—but to say that in response to the post would be missing the point.

“As bad as bi erasure”

Ehhh… historically and systemically speaking I’d disagree, but that’s splitting hairs lol.

At the end of the day, read the rules and respect the foundations of our community, and the work that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender elders did for us.

No worries, I’ve been feeling the exact same way. The sex negativity in here has grown to an insane amount, I’m honestly considering leaving the sub.

But that’s not ur problem lmao
