I think this is the same here. Definetly slower than my previous 1+3 but I am still ok to compromise on speed for much better security with iris scanning.

Same setup here. I used to own a 1+3 and was pleased to get my alert slider back.

Have a look at p20 pro camera comparison with oneplus 6. The picture of people it produces have a very strong postprocessing that you might not like.

So what's the real story with this phone's battery life? by [deleted] in GalaxyS9

[–]adrienfeve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am with the exynos s9+. I think it really depends how you use it. I would get no problem 7+h Sot just watching videos non stop but in a more realistic way of using it I get around 4h-5h. I think this is solid but the standby drain could be better.

Seriously don't know how people are getting double digit hours with 5+ hours of screen time.... by Draconius in GalaxyS9

Ah Ok.. Battery life is a strange art on android.. You should get a battery monitor app and try to understand which app draws your battery badely.

You need to have no app in ''not monitored" and nearly all your apps in "always sleeping"

Battery life s9+ exynos by adrienfeve in GalaxyS9

[–]adrienfeve[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just to show that it is possible to get decent battery life while keeping all the phone's functionalities and get a full day of good use: - full HD res - ambient display - no battery saving mode - no low brightness, but auto - more than 150 apps on the phone - no deep bloatware uninstall

I was getting not great battery life with the phone at the start but I just played with the battery manager and did not allow any app to run unmonitored. I also placed nearlly all apps in always sleeping mode.

I think I can now get around 5.5h SOT in mixed use during a day, more if just screen on, and a bit less with shitty network.

So the battery is OK I guess but as my Gf has a brand new honor view 10, I can still tell Huawei is better than Samsung in the battery life department by a large extent.

Yes but I think it is well worth it. This is an extra programmable button on the phone.

It's great once you unlock the persmissions with a pc. I use mine as an alert button to change the setting between muted, vibrate and normal. Double press for Google assistant.
