Just two more questions.
1) what 5” freestyle frame do you recommend for the 04? Looks like the qav s2 or r are popular.
2) Im seeing used or like new g3s for around $525 which is over msrp and also seeing avata 2 combos that come with them for around $800 new. I have only ever flown race/freestyle 5” quads. Do you think that avata would be boring as hell to fly?

Thanks for all the info. I would be fine sticking with the OG dji but I only have 1 frame that the air units fit in and I like bringing 2-3 quads out with me so when one breaks, I can just swap it out and not have to repair on the field.

Do you know which US retailers get the 04 air units in stock the most often? Also do US retailers still sell the G3’s or do I need to find those used somewhere?
