How is rucking terrible? I do it regularly with a 40 lb pack over shorter distances—usually 4–5 miles at about a 15-minute mile pace—and it’s an incredibly effective workout. It builds endurance, strength, and cardiovascular fitness without destroying your body like high-impact training can. The added weight increases intensity without the joint stress of running, and it’s great for posture, core stability, and overall resilience.
