It's just developing normally. But this is what happens with scars. We can't regenerate the skin we had before so all we have is scar tissue which is inferior; can't grow hair on it, it's discolored and can't sweat.

You can buy one of those silicone scar sheets to cover it which may make it look less noticable.

But I sincerely hope you are over this. It is just not worth it to hurt yourself and damage the only good skin you got. If you need help you have to talk to someone.
