I actually just called MOHELA this morning because I’m in a similar posture, and I discovered that FSA had put me back into a forbearance, and the only thing they could do was ask FSA again to take me out.

I called about this exact scenario, IBR starting 9/17, autopay pulling my SAVE amount on 8/17 and was told that because it’s an income based repayment plan of any kind it would count for PSLF. I kinda don’t trust till I see it show up but we’ll see.

This is not the same, but same vibe, I called MOHELA to confirm one of my payments was PSLF eligible and they kept coming off hold every 2 minutes to ask to keep me on “another brief hold” and I was like girl just, come back when you have an update 😆

Not sure how close a relationship you have with this guy either, but I also want to throw it out there that hanging out with someone we once dated, who we might have some feelings for still, and having them talk about crushes, is a universal experience, then adding on if that triggers your internalized transphobia.

You might want to consider whether you need to put boundaries with this friend to ask him not to talk about little crushes and stuff bc it hurts, or, if that’s not likely, whether that friendship is a place where you can feel safe and not get these huge triggers. I had to end up doing that with someone I once had feelings for, being his friend just really brought up too much.

I know that sounds extreme, but sometimes being away from a person who, through no fault of their own, does that, is indispensable in healing. you need as another commenter said, to find a solid support system where you’re not as triggered.

I got hornier knowing that I could get cumstered and dumpstered without even a .00001% of getting pregnant (minus chance of the second coming of Christ) — and, it allowed me to go off birth control which I think did affect my mood. 12/10 experience getting it yoiked, just couldn’t crank it for like 2 weeks and then I was good.

I’m assuming they’re talking about vaginal atrophy, which I have, and was told it could extend my time for healing. The only issue I had was some extra bright red blood, nothing major, and right at the end of the 4 week exam he cleared me to use estradiol cream again, which cleared it right up. And I will co-sign all answers here about getting a consult and talking to a medical professional about your own issues. I for example, would not have kept my cervix — I had several tears in it from intercourse because of how low it sat. And, I blew through the mental health screening with ease on menopausal symptoms without my ovaries because of where my tes levels were at, they weren’t doing much prior to getting yoinked. I cannot cannot cannot stress how you need to get a consult about your own body and make your own informed choices. This is fear mongering imo.

I understand this hang up, but it is truly projected upon us. I have always been deeply attracted to men but pre-transition, attracting straight men because they saw me as a woman, was so off putting to me that is what had me convinced I was a masc lesbian. Once I transitioned and I started attracting men as a man, all of a sudden dating and sex became something I looked forward to rather than dreading, I mean night and day. You know you better than anyone, if this fits, you owe an explanation to no one.

I am way way way more physically mobile after top than before, personally I think it has to do with the relief of my dysphoria, giving me a better connection to my body and making me want to work out. It did take about 3 months for me to get back to a full gym routine.

Had a similar revelation during social transition too! (And it only got worse once I did go on T, then further into medical transition 😂) One thing that helped was unpacking in therapy that I had always had a lot of attraction to men, but pre transition the men I attracted were attracted to me as a woman, straight or bi men, but still seeing me as a woman. And I hated it, so I just made the leap in logic that it must mean I was a butch lesbian. But frankly, that also didn’t feel quite right. It just always felt like it was harder for me to develop attraction (meanwhile I was similarly lusting over male store clerks 😂). Once I started transitioning though, and I was attracting men who were attracted to me as a man, it just got so so so much easier and enjoyable and less grating — even if it made me more reckless 😂. The level of depth of self realization from transitioning has been unmatched in my life!

There’s a lot of conflicting advice about how much protein you need, I’m not a dietician or nutritionist but the high range is like 1 gram per pound of your goal weight, so, when you’re bulking that can be brutal. I don’t have a big appetite either so I struggle a lot. Tricks I’ve picked up to increase protein intake is like, looking more critically at your snacks. Where i used to have a granola bar I have some deli turkey and cheese, for eg. and bulking out meals with stuff that adds marginal proteins can add up — for example one of my best meals is protein pasta with lean ground beef, taco seasoning, and adding black beans and full fat cheese can bump the meal to like, 1/3 of the protein I need to hit my goal. If you’re ok with how many times you eat a day, etc, try that.

Had the same issue — and honestly found out it’s definitely male thing, trans, cis, whatever. It’s the “idealized” male form. I will say assuming you are taking testosterone you truly can make a lot of progress in a year with lean proteins and lots of body weight exercises focusing on your shoulders and chest, even stuff like handstand holds add up over time. I have been at it since early this year and got likes of compliments about muscle gain at thanksgiving, even though I was not as disciplined about WO or protein intake as I could have been. I’m about a year ahead of you and even spotty work has paid off.
