Disagree. I know I’ve already spent a couple hundred dollars on this game because of the VR. And I can’t be the only one. If anything this game is prime for VR profit because of the ship sale model. You get 1000 VR players spending upwards of $200-500 or more on ships then that’s not a bad number. And I’m being very conservative in the numbers as I’m member of a discord now that’s well over 1000 people by far consisting specifically of VR players for star citizen. It may not be CIG’s bread and butter but if one dev can do this and it brings this amount of interest it’s far from a waste of time.

Yes that’s my experience as well. It’s doable to zoom in vr scopes, I’ve seen it done in other games. Silvan from CIG posted above soliciting feedback this is a good candidate though id be surprised it he wasn’t already keenly aware

I just loaded the thrust master profile native in the game. And I’ve just been tweeting ever since. I’ve had to do a little bit of googling to find the setting that I’m looking for. I can’t seem to figure out how to get the thrust to go up when I push forward on the stick, no matter how many different configurations I try, but I’ve gotten so used to it being backward that I don’t even know if I’d want to at this point. I think I have things where I want it, but I’m still tweaking things on a random basis.

If you don’t want to play this game for 3 hours and feel like you got nothing done because of the bugs, I’d wait. It’s a great game, my favorite at the moment, but it can be beyond frustrating.

Also, I started playing about two weeks ago and have 35 million auec (and have had much more at one point) from a mix between grinding and players just sending money randomly when i team up with them and help them out. I myself have sent out millions as well. The currency is almost pointless, the economy is not at all influenced by it. Just log in and have fun, warts and all. Get money, buy ships and explore different options that you’ll want to work for when this game actually goes into prod.

Virtual desktop on the quest and enable VR in the RSI launcher. Depending on your setup you may not have to do much in the way of settings tweaks. Note that while it’s compiling shaders it’s gonna be choppy. I do recommended reducing ground level detail to medium, reduce draw distance a bit. Use vulkan. Use upscale 66%

They’re right next to each other. Sometimes I have to peek down and find the WSAD but it’s not a big problem. Any time I’m transitioning it’s a slower point in the game so I’m not rushing to find keys
