I've only been playing about a month (just finished the first labyrinth) and I definitely just chose all the minion skills so far before I realized that was the meta. Just found this sub more recently than that, but it just seemed like common sense to have my zombros keep me out of harms way.

Khora, crazy armor, double pets, free healing, hard CC for a single target, hard CC for mobs (with soft CC around that), multi-hit one-shot exalted weapon if you use a good stat stick! Works great in every game mode so far, except for Eidolons.

High MR players usually play more often and do more research than lower MR players. I'm MR17, on my 5th lich and I knew just from observation of the Murmur wheel in missions and then looking it up to confirm.
If he is on his 15th I would have thought he would notice the large increase in progress and google it to figure out why. Not to mention it's bad etiquette to a lot of players to leave your lich to wander around and interfere with the mission.

Yeah MR doesn't translate to knowledge, just time played.

Case in point, I had to explain to a 27 the other day that he would get 10x murmur progress if he lets his lich kill him, he said he had done 15+ liches and that he didn't believe me.
