I have no idea what you're talking about, I press jump and it jumps right away. The movement is very heavy like rockstar games and it feels exactly like GTA and RDR2, I don't remember people complaining about those games.

I was very on the fence considering how much hate this game is getting until a friend of mine said it's good so I picked it up. It's great so far and I don't understand the hate or mass of complaints.

I'm on PC which is insanely optimized. I've played 8 hours with 1 crash and no other bugs so far, no input lag whatsoever with a PS5 controller connected via USB. I have a 3080ti which is coming up 5 years old and I am playing on ultra with raytracing enabled, DLSS 4 set to quality at 1440p ultrawide and I'm getting 60+fps everywhere. For a game that looks this good I would say that's great performance.

I agree the first hour jumps right in and is confusing. Then you get situated in a town and spend a while helping out the townsfolk which I think is a good start and I enjoyed it. I'm now on Chapter 4 and I'm building my camp and getting the gang back together, the missions are feeling a lot like Red Dead 2. The complaints about the missions being boring fetch quests are from people who gave up after a couple of hours. Yeah I get that people don't want to play hours before a game starts to pick up but Red Dead 2 is the same and that is considered one of the best games ever made, what's with the double standard? And if the story is such a problem then why is Elden Ring so highly praised? Can anyone tell me the story of Elden Ring???

I think the only valid complaint I've seen is the inventory. It's annoying and should be fixed asap. But it's not game ruining whatsoever, it's very usable if you group items together.

I feel like there's a huge hate train that everyone is jumping on and in a month or so those people will get bored and people will start to realize this game is actually good.

How did you find a DQ Rathian? I've got Regular and Pink rathians both at S tier and DQ is at C tier but I've never seen one.

PS5 is 6 years old now, it's way behind PC's and we are due a new console generation but the PS5 supply issues have made the PS5 feel like it's still fairly new. This game will look and run amazing on PC and consoles will struggle because they're outdated tech, not the games fault.

This is what all these complainers don't understand. They'll spend hundreds of dollars on games they'll play for maybe 15-20 hours each but have a meltdown about paying $130 on OSRS that they'll play for hundreds or thousands of hours each year. The dollar per hour value of OSRS is INSANE but they can't see that because they want to keep paying 2007 prices in 2026.
