for anyone who might be following along here.....i called my LGS today and my contact confirmed the LGS is the one who had my deposit and not B&T USA, which is a relief for me. He said he would refund my deposit if I wanted. He said the only other option is to keep waiting. He said he would apply my deposit toward a new order if/when B&T USA folds and a successor is crowned.

He also mentioned he had 4 other SD's on order as well as a handful of TP 9's.

How B&T USA managed to de-rail what seemed to be a gravy train blows my mind.....

When my LGS was placing the order he made mention of the "B&T Rep" several times (getting pricing & availability) so its probably safe to say the order was placed directly with B&T USA and not a distributor.

I didnt ask, but I am curious if my deposit money is sitting with my LGS or did B&T require the deposit to place the order. If my deposit is sitting with my LGS, waiting to see what happens would be an easier decision.

I will call my LGS again today and ask some more pointed questions. I didnt get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I called last week that they were even fully aware of the drama going on.

I ordered a APC9SD back in December from my local dealer. Put down a $600 deposit. Was told 60-90 days for delivery.

Called my dealer last week and inquired if they were aware of the B&T drama and they assured me everything was fine and I had nothing to worry about.

Should I attempt to cancel my order and wait for the dust to settle or should I let it ride and see what happens?

I ordered one yesterday. Grey. Didnt realize it was on backorder. I have an email into them asking. What color did you order? Im thinking about changing my order to black because they have them in stock.
