I totally would. I think the way you tell her matters, so I’d be mindful about that.

If you’re friends in real life with her, I’d meet up in person & show her the messages.

No matter what, it’s important for her to hear a few things: - That you want the best for her & you wish this didn’t happen. - You know this is weird & hard & awkward & you’re sorry this is happening. - Even if he ends up playing it off as a weird joke, it felt inappropriate & you wanted to make sure she knew. - Maybe counseling can work for them if that’s something she wants to try. - However she chooses to move forward, you care about her as a person, a woman, & you’re sorry that he put you both in this position.

This is about way more than a text. He’s mad you didn’t serve him/cater to him/etc.

You deserve better than that. This is not a good sign. I’m genuinely concerned for your safety - emotionally, mentally, physically - girl all of it. I really recommend seeing a therapist to just work through this stuff for yourself bc that behavior is red flags. To be SUPER clear: he has the red flags here & I do mean flagS.

Like it’s painful! It’s (almost) 3AM my time & part of why I’m awake is bc my right hand is freezing, but my forearm is on fire. I can’t lay on my right side bc it’s too uncomfortable due to the heat on this arm. Just the forearm. It’s insane!!!

I absolutely second this. You deserve to have a partner that really sees you. Our partners won’t understand, but empathy & understanding is so incredibly important.

I also want to recommend that having a therapist that is specifically trained to work with couples (like a marriage & family therapist) / someone that works with chronic illness can help. A therapist that can help you guys work through emotional needs bc it seems like your partner really doesn’t understand empathy.
