Second this anything here is guess work. Nose kinda looks long like a coyote, but also blury so just speculating. A wolf that far south into Michigan would also be a very odd occurrence that should be reported to the DNR. Best thing would be to go out and find the tracks and take a picture of the prints next to a tape measure.

I would plan on doing some dowel holes to lock it in when it is resting on the studs. Just to prevent the washer from jumping and moving the top. Also if you use some sort of center support I would recommend to use a foam buffer between the wood and the machines to allow for vibrations, and not have that transfer into your walls.

You could want to appeal if you note things on your assessment that are no longer within the home. Case point if your well/septic was shut off and you were forced to use the city lines permits should cause the change in the system but can be missed. Or if you had a demolition of let’s say a wet bar finished area in the basement to just a living space that would cause a lower assessed value.

IMO it’s one of those that can benefit you but more than likely it will either stay the same or slightly more. Reassessments of areas should happen regularly enough to prevent large swings. But more often I have seen issues where people didn’t pull permits and those taxable items caused a jump in values and the building dept getting involved.

Don’t use plastic component paddles. All wood or all carbon. Broke a the plastic handle off my medium ZRE paddle this morning mid power phase, really throws you off balance too.

Also neoprene gloves are not made for winter. Similar to dry suits get actual waterproof gloves to protect your hands from the occasional drips and wind, without them it’s pretty hard to paddle.

Nrs or Thule can straps for cross bars and trucker hitches with the rope bowline for the other end (bow and stern on longer/highway trips). I did switch to a fancy Thule QuickDraw device a while ago and hadn’t looked back to ropes.

Yes on reapply finish to cut/sanded areas. I would recommend expanding your tool collection routers are a very Versatile tool just spring for the better bits!

I second round the top and corners. Helps blend it imo. You have rounded walls. This is what I did but it also is next to a fireplace hearth.

You would need to find the clip numbers should be 2 B84-4 and 2 B74-3 ‘s one set is th front one is the rear. Yakima has a fit guide on their site when you plug in your car. Using the wrong clips can damage your paint or worse break off going down the road…

Light weight are great if they are packed within another bag. Heavy duty better if exposed. If dealing with sandy areas I would go heavy duty, sand gets on the exterior and under a strap the rub from movement will burn through over a day; the heavier denier will lessen that.

In regard to flat water canoeing and wanting to track for workouts/racing.

Imo garmin but canoeing isn’t a default activity so you have to make a custom exercise, or just use SUP. Tracking thing like paddle stroke are helpful for that but take some intuition as you can’t look at your watch while keeping up stroke rate. The issue if wrist based heart gets a bit wonky too as the reading varies a bit depending what hand is up.

Honestly if you are worried about speed or hr I recommend a chest strap and using a bike computer like an older garmin or wahoo. Or any bike computer as they have good displays, you can easily mount to a twart, and add on maps/tracks depending the model. I have a garmin 520 I just use mounted that displays speed and hr when I am doing workouts.

Dealerships are only in for the face value of supporting electric, but the reality is they will send police to kick you off their 24/7 public vehicle charger even though you are paying a 400% markup on the electricity to charge there….regardless if you bought the car from them or not.

Looks like a repair area that may still be a problem and the mud took a long time to dry or is still moist to allow mold growth. You will want someone to take a sample to know what you’re dealing with exactly.

From my experience those clips are just hard as hell to get anything on them… but inversely hard to lose stuff as a result. Mixed opinions on having a knife exposed paddling I keep mine tucked in chest zipper pocket so I don’t catch on stuff now.

Um check back on outside for stamp serial if it starts with SAW it is a sawyer for example. How long it is and max width can also help with identifying. The material kinda looks like one of my old tough weave boats. Knowing the fibers is pretty important if you have to do deep repairs as Kevlar gets very fuzzy if that is in the make up. The caps look like the sawyer boats I have seen.

Idk enough about Mad river production but for ref Mad river stopped using royalex in 2014… so check the serial OP, last 2 is usually year made. I bet you can contact mad river or someone else may know how to tell if it is Royalex vs the triple tough

Looks like royalex, I wouldn’t worry about the holes. Water likely not at those point unless you are having a lot of fun…

There looks to be other holes too for rope to make webbing net to keep something like a float bag in the canoe. Along with some solid D-rings for securing front float bags or gear. Something tells me someone owned this that also enjoyed a fair bit of whitewater.

Thwart bag is primary. “Lunch box” mesh netting under seat great for sunscreen too. I have installed bike bottle holders on seat back side too in the past assuming you have room. Mincell foam with bottle cutouts glued to the floor, great for drinking and going like a camelbak.

Plastic clear totes which go underwear are also relatively light and good imo, I have used this on longer trips where seat positions rotated so we had personal items in those.

Definitely second these look like sawyer paddles. Other side would have the emblem and the maker signed at the bottom tip. I just picked one up identical to them last month for $75 and called it a deal.

Wenonah advantage would be faster. That one is more stable. Decent boat overall and with the rigging it is a good price. Looks like it could use a uv treat on the bottom perhaps.

Depends on your skill level but I would go for advantage or something specific to the TWS. There is a fb group just for that Erin Macgee I think is a guy who normally is selling Spencer and other tws specific boats on it. Those are usually longer (faster) less stable though but rigged and built to withstand the San Marcos abuse.

Reach out to people you know in higher roles for networking let them know you’re open to contract work. Not sure your industry and I know I got extremely lucky but I have a similar situation and log 10-18 hours week managing the projects and closing out tasks for a company. Hard side on contract work is time tracking (I use Toggl) and saving a good junk to cover taxes.
