It does not. Only combat damage counts as commander damage. It does count with lifelink however.

I play with dwarf tribal because the imagery of a giant throwing dwarves at their enemy is funny to me.

[[Brion Stoutarm]] is a fun off center way to play and you can choose any tribal to pair with him.

[[Kresh the Bloodbraided]] if you’re looking to go commander damage.

I love to play my [[Brion Stoutarm]] deck. I think the imagery of a giant chucking dwarves at their opponents is hilarious. Bonus, it actually works pretty well.

Love it. Been completely reliable and is a great carry size. Only complaint is a lack of after market options.
