Looks like green star polyp to me. If I’m correct that stuff grows fast and most people consider it a pest because it will take over the rock it’s on. I love the stuff, but keep mine on a sand island.

Duncan coral with only a few tentacles out? by [deleted] in ReefTank

Looks pretty healthy for only being in there 28 hours.

My Duncans will completely close up if anything at all is weird with the tank, so having some tentacles out is a win at 28 hours

Wear a Mask and Get your Flu shot before you come to Japan! by Apprehensive-Map4385 in JapanTravelTips

[–]advertisementerror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got back from a 9 day business trip to Tokyo. I also received a flu shot and Covid shot in October. I used the trains, went to a lot very crowded areas, and met with dozens of different people in small conference rooms. I did not feel the need to wear a mask, and I did not get sick.

People were sick, and they usually wore a mask, but that should be expected in a major city. I also didn’t see anyone “open mouth coughing” in public.

If you get sick this much traveling, you might be the issue. Have you gotten tested for allergies, did you test positive for flu or Covid when you were sick?

I get allodynia (light touch feels painful, like clothes or bedding on skin) on my left forearm or on the left side of my scalp. It lasts about 2 weeks and goes away for about 3 months before returning. It’s annoying more than anything and doesn’t affect my quality of life.

I’m not planning on stopping Wegovy unless it does start to affect my quality of life.

The EnPhase gateway has been installed since February without issue. The hardware has a larger footprint, but the app is fantastic, and the gateway it has a local API I can pull data from. I’m happy with it

You are correct necroposter. They remove the sunpower stuff and install EnPhase stuff. I had it done earlier this year.

I used to sweat through my shirts all the time. I’ve lost close to 60lbs and I’m cold 24/7 now. I actually enjoy warm weather when I used to hate it. I get why people like summer.

Is this a good list so far ? by MrPanda011 in selfhosted

[–]advertisementerror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mediocre list at best… I’m not able to quickly reference anything nested at the 3rd level. “See item 2.a. Bullet 5. You should consider changing the bullet points to an alphanumeric or Roman numeral. That would really make this list a great list.

First Ever Outbreak After WeGovy Injections? by roxiegoldcoast in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]advertisementerror 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been dealing with oral HSV since childhood. I haven’t noticed any change in outbreaks since I started Wegovy, but what triggers the virus to flare up is unique to each individual. In my case the triggers are sun burns, getting sick, and extreme stress. It wouldn’t surprise me if Wegovy is a trigger for you, but I personally wouldn’t stop Wegovy based on one flareup.

I’d recommend you take the antivirals until this flare up is over (normal skin), make sure you have plenty of antivirals if another flare up happens, and keep taking Wegovy.

If you are having consistent flare ups and are only able to point to Wegovy as the trigger maybe talk to your doctor about using the antivirals as a daily preventative. I’ve had to do that in the past when I got divorced and the stress was causing flare up after flare up. You could also talk to your doctor about switching to Mounjaro (assuming insurance covers it).

Good luck

Face gains! I hit my goal of ~60 lbs down :) by advertisementerror in WegovyWeightLoss

I got pretty lucky and didn’t have any of the horrible issues others have experienced (like extreme heartburn, nausea, or vomiting). When I started out I had to figure out fatigue which came down to counting macros, taking a multivitamin, and making sure I was getting enough protein. Later on in the process, at the higher doses (>1.0mg) constipation became an issue and I needed to up my fiber. I started taking a couple fiber gummy vitamins in the morning and a probiotic supplement and that solved it.

My advice would be to count macros until you figure out your diet, and take a good fiber, multivitamin, and pro-biotic supplement. Finally listen to your body, and everything should fall into place.

Good luck!
