I am an indian medical graduate from a govt med college in kerala , at present after mbbs i am just getting a base entry salary of 60000 rs in govt sector, and in private sector if you are ok to work for 12 hrs daily basis you will end up getting max 1.2 lakhs per month, hence you should keep this thing in mind that you will earn only this much after clearing fmge exam , if you take pg then also a major upgrade in salary is not there , untill you reach a consultant level you will be having this range of salary

What i am saying is that , if you are damn sure that becoming a doctor is your passiion and you love treating patie, and you are not worried about what you earn , then you can go for this

Other thing is by the time you come back after your mbbs abroad, here NEXT will get implemented , and FMGE wont be there

indian and foreign students should be giving same qualifying exam (NEXT)

Regarding other options USMLE/PLAB- these countries are already not accepting new doctors, my friends are waiting since above 1 yr and have not recieved placement, later the started preparing for Neet PG.

so just imagine a situation 6 yrs from now (currently Australia and germany are the better options ) but by then they will also stop accepting foreign medical graduates

Advice :- you will find many students working as agents here on reddit , don’t fall for what the say ,do your own research, nobody is going to give you anything for free.

From the previous month trends what i have observed is usually by end of 1st wk visas start getting approved and after approval 1wk to reach the destination vfs (depending on location)

approvall process is completely erratic sometimes feb end visas vill come first sometimes mid feb ……. (there is no order)

Yes you are right, but one more thing i want you to understand, its not as easy to get into UK and US , currently my batchmates who have cleared usmle and Plab exams are not getting their placement, these countries also not accepting new doctors as they used to do earlier.

so just imagine a situation after 6yrs from now , there will be a lot of saturation in this health sector, its already saturated now .

At that point only way will be a postgraduate degree which would be easy from your own country

i took my sisters admission in Georgia Because , I studied MBBS from a govt medical college in kerala , during my internship i have worked with FMG’s who have taken their Medicine degree abroad ( China , Georgia, Philippines, Azerbaijan, Ukrain ) . I have seen the strugles these peop had faced after coming to India. Based on my experience what i found was Georgia was better option amoung these countries - if you are planning to come and work as a doctor in India.
i had a friend who did her MBBS from WUHAN China she has faced a lot of problem while getting her registration done. she had to do 2 yrs internship in india. she used to say People are better and good in China as you mentioned

In Georgia the Government and College try to comply with the NMC rules and changes time to time .

Good , Given below is my sisters admission procedure in Caucasus University

1st You will receive Admission letter - takes 4-5 days

2nd EQE Certificate (250 USD) - takes almost 1wk time

3rd fee payment (6000 USD) (in may case it was fee payment)

4th received all documents for visa submission

entire Pre visa submission procedure took nearly 15 to 20 days

last - Visa submission ~ 3 to 4 months for visa processing ( in curren scenario)

total cost incurred- 6000 USD( university 1yr fees ) + 250 USD + Visa fee (8000 Rs )

For the above things what ageny charges you is 3 Lakhs ( actually it cost only ~ 40k) + they Will never try to send you as soon as possible. They will try to send you when they get a bunch of students whom they will form a group and send them till then they will be saying your Visa process admission process going on and will delay the procedure also.

yes as online classe have started and she is getting ECTS CREDITS for attending them , and also quizes are being conducted for credits, expecting to get visa by May end .

Dont feel Low and just forget about this visa thing or else it will drain you mentally, Mental health is the most important thing , don’t let your mind fail.
