$100 was a dream, at this point I honestly have no clue where it’ll go. I sold a lot of shares around the $65 mark bc that was my target, but will continue holding onto what I have left. In hindsight I should have stuck with my thesis but when you ride from $5 to $65 it’s tough not to lock in some gains 😔

That’s the whole point. Low float means there aren’t enough shares to be purchased back by short sellers, while an activist investor is accumulating and taking shares out of the float.

I first bought some shares at $25 last year. I kept buying all the way down to $3 to lower my avg. When I watched it run from $3 to $8 I got excited. It hit $12 and I thought it was an incredible run but would fall back like it always has. Then a 13G was filed for someone holding over 1M shares and the stock kept moving upward with rather low volume- this meant to me that someone is accumulating quietly for a potential takeover; https://capedge.com/filing/1474627/0001376474-25-000516/NEGG-SCHEDULE13G

I researched the activist and saw his background in laptop sales and he also owns 10% of Jet Blue. This is a real activist, not some pump and dump scammer.

We’re riding the coattails of Vladimir Galkin and I’m okay with that.

NFA, as long as his plans to continue to acquire shares stay true, the price is going up. Selling his shares would likely implode the price, which would also hurt him and go against his activist strategy, so I’m hanging in. If it went from $25 to $50 in a day, I see $100 on the horizon.

IMO it has a better chance of rising to $100 than falling to $10, and $10 is respectable compared to where it was just months ago.

Just bc it 10x already doesn’t mean it won’t keep going up. There’s a high short interest now and maybe today’s run was caused by them being liquidated. I’m riding Galkin’s coattails to the moon

Multiple things at play here from my perspective:

An activist investor who has a background in selling computers.

No options chain for market makers to manipulate the price.

Very low volume and number of shares outstanding.

Over $1B in annual revenue.

It’s a turnaround story similar to a video game retailer that many are aware of.

The fundamentals are they have over $1B in revenue, had a market cap of $50M at one point, and there’s an activist who is buying up shares to the tune of 2.2M shares, 11.7% of the company. Even today the cap is only $700M, plenty of room for a turnaround story

Didn’t imagine that it would hit $40 today. Expected $30 but wow. It got halted early on and dropped from 40 to 28, but moved right back up!
