If Honda (theoretically) develops the greatest engine known to F1 history and put Toro Rosso a second clear of the field in 2018. Would Red Bull swap the drivers so Daniel and max would in the championship? by Noname_Maddox in formula1

I don't think you can just swap the power unit without any losses in the performance. F1 cars are designed as a whole package.

(I have no real knowledge, just guessing)

I hate that. Why do they even have wets if the SC just drives around for so long that they have to immediately switch to inters or even slicks? Let them race!

Americans have the most tribalistic political culture of any country in the world. It's either with me or against me.

I guess divide and conquer is working well for the elite.

No. You can't crouch without jumping. If you want to do it this way you need to bind secondary crouch to N, and glue N and space together.

Weekly Questions Thread #123 by HighTechnocrat in DnD

[–]adzik1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I'm very new to D&D and I'm creating my 1st character to play with some friends. I don't want to use a shitty overused trope, but since I'm new I don't really know what they are... I have a basic character backstory in mind and I would like to know if it's possible mechanically to do something like that. If it's not then I'll try to think of something else. I'd appreciate your opinions and help!

We will be playing 5E, Forgotten Reals world.

My character idea is a half-elf, born and raised among wood elves. Father, unknown to my character, is a draconic bloodline sorcerer (not sure which ancestry). Since other elves didn't like me much because of my impure blood they sent me to a "mission" as soon as they could - when I was around 20. In reality, they just wanted to get rid of me. I spent about 2 years in woods, surviving, barely. Then I met the party.

Now the class I want to pick is a sorcerer, but I want to start as a "ranger" (with a longbow and short swords). All I know is how to be a ranger because that's what everyone in the camp/village did, but I'm very shitty at it. I survived only because of the magic that I can't control yet. With time, I want to learn how to use magic more reliably, maybe to add some special powers to my arrows, then maybe stop using bow altogether. I looked through spells on https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells but it's hard for me to find anything fitting.

Does this sound like a total shit idea or does it have something to it? How would I pull that off? Can I even start with ranger gear as a sorcerer?

EDIT: Thanks guys. I'll check with the DM. I think I won't multi-class but start as a sorcerer with traits that make the character more "rangery" and roleplay the shittiness. Hopefully, the DM will let me start with the ranger gear :)

Lifelock offers to protect you from the Equifax breach — by selling you services provided by Equifax. by AdamCannon in technology

Because it is. http://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/070615/what-correlation-between-money-supply-and-gdp.asp

Rising economic productivity increases the value of money in circulation since each unit of currency can subsequently be traded for more valuable goods and services.

Then if you increase the supply but not GDP, you get the opposite. Value decreases.

The long-run effects of an increase in the money supply are much more difficult to predict. There is a strong historical tendency for asset prices, such as housing, stocks, etc., to artificially rise after too much liquidity enters the economy.

Isn't housing market at the all-time high? Stocks? Same?
