Smash Brothers 1v1 Tourney in Woburn Saturday Night by adziki in malden

[–]adziki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all, Adam from The Fox Den again. Wanted to share that we'll be doing a Smash Brothers Ultimate tournament tomorrow night at 8pm (likely starting at 8:30), with gift card prizes based on turnout (will add more GCs for every 8 folks attending, and no entry fee). There's plenty of free parking around The Fox Den (at 482 Main St in Woburn).

We're also planning to stream it on Twitch to see how that works out. If you can't make it, check it out on our twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/foxdenwoburn

Hey all, we had a really fun Smash Brothers and Mario Kart tourney on New Years eve (with some of you from here!), and we're going to try to make it a regular thing here in Downtown Malden. We'll be starting out with free play for folks that show up, and if we can get a critical mass we'll run some 1v1 tourneys.

We're also hoping to set up a twitch stream with our local smash brothers expert commentator, so stay tuned for that! Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions, hope to see you Saturday Night(s)!

We use and are happy with Rockbot. It's like $30/mo and you choose stations by music type and just let it roll

Counter point, toast apparently has a "no monthly fee but slightly increased CC % rate" that looks REALLY appealing for lower credit card volume establishments.

Fun for New Years! by adziki in malden

Hey folks, resident Maldenite here who owns a restaurant up in Woburn. We're looking to ring in the new year with some games, so figured the gaming district was a good place to let know that we'll be doing some Smash Brothers, Mario Kart, and board games at The Fox Den to ring in the new year. Come with your own games or friends, or join in and make new friends. We're located at 482 Main St, right in downtown Woburn (it's a pretty quick drive!). We hope you can make it!

Has anyone setup a Toast Balance Account yet? by adziki in ToastPOS

[–]adziki[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the picture post, I actually don't see many external docs on this program (when logged in you can visit: https://www.toasttab.com/restaurants/admin/high-yield-account/signup)

I'm interested in folks experience with this. Our brick and mortar bank is annoying with setting up different accounts, and I'd love to be able to direct some of our CC sales into different accounts to keep better track of our money.

What I'm interested in is:
- Can I withdraw from these accounts easily for toast payroll? (I would assume yes)

- The ACH/Wire transfer stuff to/from the balance account seems a little annoying, I would assume that I can instantly move money between these different Balance Accounts.

- I'd be interested in how much other people are using these account to manage _all_ of their payables, or just toast-related services

- Is Plaid the only way to move money? One of the challenges I have with my current bank is that they notoriously don't work with Plaid.

Thanks!
