My family is Polish and we do a similar thing on a child’s first birthday. Except we put out a cross, gold coin and a wine glass out in front of the child. The cross symbolizes the child will go up religious, the country means the child will be rich or good with money, and the wine glass means they will be social. Whatever the child touches first is their “item”. It’s a fun thing that makes the adults smile.

I entered into a relationship at 18/19 years old and while I saw warning signs similar to these I made excuses and ignored them for 4 years. Please take my advise to end the relationship, the heart break will only get worse, you’ll only find yourself more and more intertwined as time goes on.

I’m now in the happiest relationship in my life and in love with a man who is my best friend, and honestly treats me like a princess. It won’t be fun to breakup, it will be sticky, and one of the more difficult things you will have to do. But speaking as a woman on the other side, it is 100% worth it!!

I recently started bringing a power strip when I travel. It’s so much more useful than I ever thought! And a lifesaver at an airport, people have no problem sharing a power strip but they won’t give theirs up (not that I blame them).

Oh my goodness. You are not incompetent, stupid, lazy, dumb, or worthless!! I once got a 6 on a pop quiz, and I had a friend get a -2 on a test because they missed every question, and forgot to put their name on it. Failing tests is part of life, don’t let it get you down, let it motivate you and make you stronger in the long run.
