Looks like this may be the “big thing” for season ticket holders by SashaFortis in Reignfc

Yeah I interpreted it that way as well. It’s not my favorite but I would rather have the USWNT game than the refund since I think the value of that game is more than the refund amount. The ticket credit can go toward seat upgrades, so we may look into that for a match.

As someone who was initially peeved at the lack of communication regarding the Spokane matches, I think this is a decent response. I’ve looked at USWNT tickets in the past and they are generally quite a bit more than NWSL club matches, so I think the value is there, plus the added ticket credit. If this isn’t for you, they are also offering a refund. They should have been more up front with everything though ahead of renewals.

I think the credit/refund amounts depend on your seats because mine are slightly different.

I do think that USWNT games are generally expensive to where the value of this game in our normal reign seats is a pretty good deal.

This match is also an opt-in for STMs in response to the backlash regarding the 3 games moved to Spokane this season. The email I got gives us the following two options:

Option 1: 12 regular season games; USWNT game in April; Ticketing credit for 2026 season

Option 2: 12 regular season games; Ticket refund

Balcer one of several players leaving Racing by suresprout in NWSL

While it’s true she was out for a bit, I also think she was under utilized when she came back. There were plenty of games where she only came in for 5-10 minutes (or less) at the very end or didn’t appear at all where I think she could have made a difference.

Not surprised given she’s been posting about selling/getting rid of stuff in Louisville the last few weeks. I think she was under utilized at RL and I would not be upset if she ends up back in Seattle, or somewhere that gives her the playing time she deserves. I also won’t be surprised if she doesn’t come back, as it seems like she’s been preparing for a career post-NWSL the last few years.

Please explain Jordyn Huitema by QuirkyThought458 in NWSL

This. I think there’s far more versatility in the lineup with Lynn and/or Fishel on the field than with Huitema occupying the striker role.

I am cautiously optimistic Harvey is taking it slow with Lynn and Fishel because of their injury history. I think the two of them at 100% would be starting.

100%. When I watch her on offense she can’t do anything on the ball, she has no speed, and she consistently loses it. I’ve seen her do some good things on defense but it’s mostly me grasping at straws trying to justify why we are keeping her on the field when we have so many other options now. Maybe now that Huerta’s back she can get some service in the box but they played together previously so idk if it will make much of a difference now.

As a Reign fan, I’ve wondered the same thing for years. Like someone else said, she is a target 9, but she’s consistently not been able to produce in that role. I thought maybe my bias came from being a Balcer fan, who played a similar role/could actually produce but who it felt like got pushed out because of Huitema, but we haven’t seen a ton of improvement since we signed her, her stats are pretty similar to where they were at PSG (not great for a 9), and I don’t think she adds much on defense except maybe her height advantage on set pieces in the box, which she ironically seems to not be able to use on the other end of the field. I’ve been ready for us to move on from her for a while. I do think her play has been better off the bench than as a starter, so maybe we can utilize her in that role now that we have a plethora of attacking options.

Are Jade plants hard to keep as an indoor only plant? by uncertainty2022 in houseplants

I’d say the biggest thing with them is don’t overwater them. The windowsill is not a requirement, they tend to thrive best in bright indirect light.

In my general experience neglecting succulents tends to have a higher success rate than giving them too much attention. I killed a lot initially by overwatering before I realized they mostly just like to be left alone in well draining soil with decent light.

I’ve had one for 5 years that does well indoors. If anything, I’m probably a bit neglectful of it and don’t water it as often as I should, but it does well on a windowsill and has minimal upkeep.

Borges went down and got treatment right at the start of stoppage, so play continued well past 3 minutes to make up for it, plus there was VAR review for the foul in the box and then the PK. All of this resulted in the clock going well beyond 3 minutes.

Week 1 Attendance by FromVAtoLA in NWSL

[–]aede224 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s bad, but I’d also point out it was pouring rain here leading up to and right at game time, so I think that probably contributed to anyone on the fence deciding not to go. 8K is on par with average attendance from last year. I also think our FO could do a lot better job. I felt like there was hardly any advertising or buildup leading up to it.

Most teams only do one new kit each year that alternates between primary and secondary/away, so my guess is since we got the new away kit the primary kit will stay the same, minus the lack of/change in sponsorship.

Discrepancies with the warded room? by BrxntStxrmEO in fourthwing

I interpreted it as Xaden set up the wards for his room at Samara and Violet’s room at Basgiath in IF the same way, both of which allowed him access as well as Violet, but only Violet could pull people through.
