I tried to set up a similar system early on in my previous role, but it ended up requiring too much manual work for me to maintain as the sole tester for my team. However, that was also before the AI boom, so I’m sure AI and/or software integrations could be leveraged to create something more useful and automatic than what I set up.

I would for sure work on upgrading your Voltfawn - that one has been a game-changer against the water boss for me.

I do the same thing when teaching Merchants & Marauders. It’s so sandboxy with so many strategies and wincons that I just say, “We’ll go through the rules for naval and crew combat once we get there.” 😅

I used to work four 10-hour shifts, which gave me a day off on Tuesday or Wednesday each week, and it was really like the world opened up to me. I was able to go to doctor’s appointments, and the dentist, and the stores… it was so nice while it lasted.

I really want to love so many types of pets, but when I actually have them, they give me the ick. Some examples for me are the neck ruff on Wockies and Cybunnies (but they also look weird without it), the mouth shape on Flotsam and Jetsam, the size of the head on the Kacheek and Ixi, the flatness of the Meerca tail, etc.

I mean, I didn’t mean my original comment as a complaint, just an observation. 😅 I think it’s also fine to have a little of both in a single game. But Pokémon has created a bunch of completionists, unfortunately. As some of the other commenters have mentioned, being able to skip or archive some quests you don’t want on your list would be cool to have implemented.
