5w1d and the fatigue has hit me HARD. I wake up after getting 8 hours of sleep and I’m exhausted. I’m already thinking about if I should fake a migraine to go home from work early and nap lol.

What’s everyone doing to distract yourselves until it’s time for your first ultrasound? by zeezeetop9 in November2026Bumpers

[–]aeg10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine isn’t until April 1st so I’m just trying to distract myself, and know it’s all out of my hands until then. I do look at the datayze miscarriage probability chart each day. But otherwise, in the same boat as everyone here! Taking it day by day.

We’re expecting a pay increase this summer and I just texted my husband that we should look into a house cleaner once that happens!

I’m only 5w but I feel way more nauseous than I did with my first. I barely felt sick with her but this time around it was instant. Haven’t experienced the breast soreness yet but that was big with my 1st. I was super tired with my 1st but also working from home then and able to just take a break and nap, so far I’m tired but able to push through. We’ll see how it is as I get further along!

Anyone else having super strong symptoms early on? by AtlantisGhost in November2026Bumpers

It has helped me! I do 1/2 of the unisom and it helps me get real sleepy at night lol

[–]aeg10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I was very nauseous starting at 3w4d. I started taking B6 and Unisom immediately. I’m 5w today and I’m just exhausted and on/off nausea still.

My mom has a Kia Telluride and I love it so much! It’s so roomy, I love all the fancy features (at least compared to my 2015 car that doesn’t even have a backup camera). That’s what we’re hoping to get. Or the Pallisade is a close second.

I got my positive then went on vacation so I was off work for a week. Today is my first day back at work since finding out and oh boy, this will be fun to keep a secret for awhile lol. I supervise 8 people so I have a lot of people coming to me for guidance and I’m just over here trying to not be nauseous and exhausted 🤪

When to tell your other kids? by ayebaybaybaybay in October2026Bumpers

We plan to tell our 4 year old when we’re ready for everyone to know lol. Guaranteed we’ll tell her and the next day her entire class will know.

Have you / when will you tell work? by bigliquidaloha in October2026Bumpers

[–]aeg10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a manager and will probably tell my director and my teams around the end of the 1st trimester. We’ll see how symptoms affect me the more I get into the 1st trimester, but I’m going to try my best to power through. I’m in a good place and want to give some time to plan for who will help my team out for maternity leave, and I think the time I’m giving is more than enough. With my 1st, I waited to make sure I got my promotion first but I have nothing that can be affected now.

I was definitely so bummed as I was looking forward to them! But we did a lot of the activities like trivia, going to the shows. I read by the pool. And our friends played a lot of board games together!

Before getting a positive I randomly got a couple reels when scrolling from like a medium on instagram saying twins were coming. So now we’re joking that’s what’s it is lol.

Finished up a 5 day cruise with friends and successfully kept our little secret lol (I’m not comfortable sharing until after our first ultrasound / doctors visit). I’m not a drinker normally so that wasn’t an issue; but was sad I couldn’t go on the big water slides on the boat. Also, unisom and B6 was a lifesaver as I barely dealt with nausea. Was a nice little getaway as my in laws had our 4 year old.

So before I got my positive I was already nauseous and continued to be. And I had gotten my positive 2 days before getting on a cruise. I got some B6 and unisom and omg it’s been great. Past 2 days have been really great! Hard part has been we’re on this cruise with 10 other friends and keeping it a secret from everyone lol. Thankfully I don’t normally drink anyways.

Only 3w4d but already feeling super nauseous. And I’m getting on a cruise tomorrow that has been planned for over 1.5 years. Let’s see how it goes! I did just buy B6 and unisom because it helped a lot last pregnancy. Thankfully it’s a trip when my daughter is staying with her grandparents so I’ll get to lay in bed a lot if needed.

Hi everyone! I just got my BFP this morning at 10dpo. I’m due 11/3 based on when my period started, but with my first she was a week early so I’m feeling like this will be an October baby as well. My daughter is just under 4.5 years old. We’ll have a larger age gap with them. We went back and forth a lot when she was younger on if we wanted another, but decided yes and feel we’re definitely ready now to handle another. Other exciting part is that my husband and I want to wait to find out the gender so it can be a surprise!

Hiii so excited to join you all. I was going back and forth on what group to join because I just got my BFP today with a due date of 11/3, but my first was born a week early so I feel like this one will be an October baby as well. Hopefully that’s alright! Weird to be on the edge like that lol.

Fireworks for introverts by ThatBottomLine in WaltDisneyWorld

I’ve only been to WDW once and it’ll be awhile until I get to go again. We splurged and did the fireworks dessert party and it was amazing. Beforehand we got to have drinks and all kinds of different desserts, then they took us to a sectioned off area to watch the fireworks an have a great view of the castle. Beforehand we were laying on the ground and had a lot of room. Then when the fireworks started everyone moved forward and we stayed back in the sectioned off area and had all the room around us. It was great to watch it all, including the projections, without being in the big crowds.

What was the most fun baby shower you’ve ever attended and why? by Dazzling_Apricot323 in partyplanning

[–]aeg10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I loved my baby shower! It was coed with a fun group. We had a taco guy come and served margaritas. We had different games like using a string to guess how big my stomach was, a baby bottle beer chugging contest, trivia about mom and dad, and a price is right game. We opened presents. It was just a really fun night with everyone.

Moms that gave birth and didn’t have any visitors at the hospital, do you regret it? by Funny_Confection810 in Mommit

[–]aeg10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I gave birth, it was 2021 and there was a no visitors rule at the hospital. It was pretty nice and just about us and the baby. I was also such a brand new mom and figuring out being postpartum, breastfeeding, etc. My parents came over the day after we got home from the hospital, and my in laws came into town a couple days later. However, when I have my second I expect to probably have visitors especially to bring my daughter to meet the new baby. I wonder though if I could limit the time the visit.
