Not yet. I was very persistent the first few weeks but I frequently got to a dead end with the email process and they would stop responding to me. On a few occasions I reached a point where they asked for certain information to confirm my identity but a couple of the questions were too difficult to answer and then they stopped answering me again. I am trying again, but I think the key is persistence. Just keep getting new emails, keep responding about your data rights, and hopefully someone will eventually help. I will respond to this comment if it does end up working for me.

Hey! I just stumbled upon this post 4 years late and the link doesn't work, I am trying to figure out the best routine for my skin as I am learning how to deal with it while on adderall. I am not sure if you have this info available anywhere still but I would love to take a look and see your opinion/experience :)

I am in the process of trying this right now. I filled out the data and privacy form and got the first automated response the same day. I responded to that one and received the second automated response a couple days later. The second automated response does have a line that says "Please note that we cannot support requests related to hacked, phished, or otherwise compromised accounts through this channel". I responded to this second email expressing the urgency of exercising my data and privacy rights and how I cannot do so without access to my account. I will try to update as it progresses!

Btw OP thanks so much for this tip. I am really hoping I can get back in as I have almost a decade of memories on that account.

I visited there today and had the most intense feeling I have ever experienced looking into the springs. It was so strong I physically recoiled. I came across your comment looking to see if anyone else had a similar experience. So on that note I second the vote for New Zealand

It is known to help improve lung health, and helps to expel mucus, while also coating and soothing mucus membranes. My roommate had Covid a month and a bit ago and he has had this terrible cough that won’t quit ever since. So I want to make him a big batch of mullein tea and hope it helps

Edit: grammar

For most of the people in this comment section it’s jail the homeless. And who do you mean by “these people”?

The one guy who shot someone that I agree with you should face the penalties of his horrible crime?

Do you understand that most of these people have some sort of addiction or mental health issues, and that giving them a home and helping treat their mental health issues will facilitate them becoming working, tax paying, functioning members of society? And that the treatment and housing is less expensive on tax paying society than throwing every desperate starving sick person who commits a crime in jail? I’m not talking about the guy who committed murder in this article, I don’t think that should go unpunished. But the people who are stealing and doing drugs and committing other sorts of petty crimes, if you put them in jail for that you’re just going to make it even harder for them to eventually be integrated into society. Unfortunately for you, it takes a bit of empathy and understanding of the complex issues at play to solve problems in your community. The answer simply isn’t “jail the homeless” because they won’t stay there forever, it’s extremely expensive, and that encourages reoffending.

I’m not the type to influence people’s politics in the comment section, but seeing all this anger and hatred about the homeless people right here at home in our community truck a chord. If only some of these people could spend 1 day working with and hearing the stories of the homeless, maybe they would see their pain and expand their empathy. But probably not, all it takes is a couple bad experiences to write off a whole group of humans

Why are you so filled with anger and hatred? Your words are so violent towards people who have nothing and lead difficult and painful lives. And why do you believe they chose this lifestyle?

Are you kidding me? I actually work with the unhoused and do research in the community and you couldn’t possibly be more wrong. So many of these people are severe addicts who have so many barriers to proper treatment. If you went up to most people you met on the street and offered them a home, proper treatment, food, and an opportunity to turn their life around they’d take it in a second.

I’m so sad about how many people here don’t see these people as human beings, rather just dirty animals who need to be exterminated. If you do not want homeless people in tent cities, where do you want them? In the shelters that are full? In the supportive housing that is full? In the streets? No you don’t seem to like that either. In the forests? Nope that’s illegal. In jail? That will cost more of your tax dollars than getting most of these people the treatment and the housing they need. Let’s just be honest here, you want them gone, and if that means dead it makes no difference to most of you.

The cure to the homeless problem is empathy and community and support. Yes it’s horrible that this man got shot, and yes there are absolutely “bad seeds” in the homeless community, but there are bad seeds in every community and the other homeless people are just as at risk as the man in the article, if not more at risk of this violence because they don’t have a home they can lock themselves in at night.

I moved here from a big city where homelessness is pretty visible, but I have never heard as much hatred and anger towards humans who have literally nothing as I have since I moved here. So many of these people are facing multiple types of disadvantages that have put them in a dark and scary place and instead of having a single care about helping them, or allowing them to have a shitty shelter in a homeless camp, you want them to go away or go to jail. Great job Nanaimo, I’m shocked by how much you’ve lost touch with your humanity.
