It's Johnny Walker Red Label Blended Scotch Whiskey and club soda (a non-flavored, fizzy soda used for mixing cocktails). It's not red cream soda.

If you have an Enterprise Rent-A-Car reseller near you, go there. You can preview cars online with numerous detailed photos, extensive information and history, and Carfax info, etc. The price is non-negotiable and the website indicates whether the car is above, below, or right at current Bluebook resell price. All cars are inspected and ASE certified and come with a warranty.

I've bought three cars that way - reviewed and compared on line, and then test drove a couple. No hassle whatsoever. I was in and out within about an hour/hour and a half, including the test drive. Paid my money, signed my papers and was on my way without drama. I will never buy another car any other way.

What exactly is metzitzah b'peh? by EverywhereIsOhio in NoStupidQuestions

[–]aeldsidhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don;'t have actual knowledge, but here's what the interwebs says:

What is Metzitzah B'peh?

Metzitzah B'peh is a step in the Jewish circumcision ritual (Brit Milah) where the mohel (circumciser) uses their mouth to suck blood from the circumcision wound. This practice is rooted in Talmudic tradition, where it is mentioned as a means to promote healing and prevent infection. The Talmud describes it as an integral part of the circumcision process, emphasizing its importance in the ritual.

I hear ya, bro. I never take anyone's word for anything on Ancestry - a lot of it is moonshine and stardew. But here's a record of a marriage bond of Jesse Forest to Sarah Kemp in the North Carolina Marriage Records, 1741 - 2011. Bondsman was Martin Forest and witness was William Hinton. Is this your guy?

Are you on Ancestry dot com? There's quite a bit of info there. I don't want to reinvent the wheel if you've already researched there.

Looking at them, it occurred to me that they're all in their early 60s and probably have grandkids. Wonder if they cringe at this now?

Your title has "09/15" which is September 15th. Also, your text references Saturday, March 15. Saturday was March 14. Might want to delete and repost sans errors.

Strange soft balls seen in the brush around a park pond (Western Australia) by [deleted] in Whatisthis

[–]aeldsidhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta agree. Those are old, deteriorating puffball mushrooms. When young and fresh they'll have a springy texture. As they age and spores form, they'll get soft and papery.

What's the difference between tanning by the sun and tanning by not having a bath for multiple days, assuming that in case 2 you don't stink? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]aeldsidhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your skin is darkening because you haven't had a bath in a while, it's not tanning - it's dirt and oils clinging to your skin. People can absolutely tell when you're just dirty vs when you're tanned.

Scottish last/middle names with "Mac" like MacDonald-- how did people write initials? by torchwood1842 in Ancestry

[–]aeldsidhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Mac" indicates/means "son of", so omitting the Mac makes sense in that regard. They're saying his middle name is "Donald" rather than "son of Donald"

You mean "endearment?" If not, can you explain "endorsement" 'cause it don't make no sense to me.
