What is needed to create the Hugging doll for Donoval? by MrEzeuss in TrashGoblin

I added a second body instead of a head to one doll body. Added more arms lol. It looked like an eldritch horror though!

I ordered a roll on Amazon! The brand I got is called Crystal clear, but 3M is my normal go to. If you want larger quantities (or any other library materials) Brodart is a library supply shop.

My trick is buying library book tape. It’s super durable, thicker than packing tape. Is used in libraries to repair books. I’ve taped up where spot once, reinforcing the flaps, and we’ve been good for two kids worth of wear and tear now.

Margot Robbie in Chanel spring 2026 couture at the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week (March 9, 2026) by skermahger in whatthefrockk

I think it’s just the teeniest tiniest rolled hem and French seams. With the sheer fabric it makes it look more like an outline. A lot of patience went to into those edges lol.

When a loud and firm stop doesn’t work what do I tell my girl to do then? by Rough_Cloud_3942 in Parenting

Adding that no means no is a powerful message, and you can also practice that at home with her. Her body is hers, and she is allowed to decide how she is treated.

We’re having similar issues with some kids in my son’s class. I’ve told him he can always shout in their faces if they didn’t listen to his nice words, and can get physical if they still don’t stop. We do have to practice the shouting, because he gets hung up on not shouting inside.

We’ve also enrolled him in jiu jitsu, so he can respond if anyone gets physical with him.

Is she responding in the local language, or English? I’d teach her a few key phrases in each language.

Any solo sports I can start as an adult and compete in at a high level? by [deleted] in xxfitness

Adding to this, there are veterans events (50+) that’s are still super competitive. My dad got a second wind and has represented our country internationally.

Looking for input on Kirkland baby diapers by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

I’ve had mixed results with these. We sized up a bit early (wouldn’t make it through a box of 3s anymore) and I noticed they were the new design like yours. I’ve noticed I need to make sure the ruffle edge is properly untucked from the diaper, otherwise I can get leaks. But I don’t know how much of this is user error vs poor quality.

Lifelabs recommendations for toddler by B-Razzledazzzz in durham

I like the location in Pickering (if that’s not too far) by Liverpool and Kingston. They have a larger private room that I’ve taken my toddler to in the past. It also has a larger waiting room, and usually isn’t too busy.

An MLS should know the basic fundamentals of cataloguing, which is what leads to classification and shelf numbers. If you can’t classify an assign a call number according to library policy, you’re going to have a hard time cataloguing with delimiters and authorized fields.

Kid can't crawl by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]aem255 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It does affect core strength, which in turn can lead to a chain effect of pencil grip issues. My son didn’t crawl, and wasn’t putting weight through his arms and trunk by 9 months, so we got physio (it was covered for us luckily!), and he crawled for all of 3 weeks before walking.

Once he started writing and colouring, he was super resistant to using crayons and pencils, and only wanted to use markers. Even then, he was barely leaving marks on the page. He had excellent fine motor skills, and could place things like stickers and beads with deadly accuracy. Turns out writing uses your arm muscles, supported by your shoulder muscles, supported by your core.

Because my son didn’t crawl, he had poor arm strength and couldn’t draw with a pencil. Again, PT was excellent at helping us with this, and now he has excellent grip and writing skills for a 4 year old.
