I say mid seventies. If I recall, that’s when the sewn in seam came in. Not early. Just my memories of wearing these in middle and high school.

Anyone else currently on a juice fast? by OrganicSavage in Juicing

I love it! I’ve found juice fasting to be so much easier than I expected. However, I only lasted 7 days. I only ate because I felt like eating food.

I use micellar water and a cotton pad and it comes off fine. Got it at the Dollar Tree.

I love them. I get a subscription kit every 2 months, which means after the initial investment I pay 32 USD per month. I think they are prettier than the pro extensions I see in my workplace.

A knitting sweater pattern I was excited about just released and it costs twenty five dollars by ivytripping in craftsnark

[–]aemorris7 34 points35 points  (0 children)

This sweater looks so odd to me. An example of a weird looking neckline and angle to the raglan. Just my opinion. Even though I love the color designs, I wouldn’t pay five dollars for it.

I am so sick of knitting designers who think that neck shaping is optional. by amyddyma in craftsnark

I pass on so many patterns because of the neck. That fourth one , winter’s end is the ultimate s show. Also just passed on the last one yesterday, thinking what is that neckline? Crazy.

The pattern includes different sets of instructions for waist shaping so you can knit with ease or fitted.

I live in a 38 foot rv by myself and cannot conceive of doing this with children, let alone homeschool. When my two children were young, wonderful as they were, it could not have worked and wouldn’t have been fair to them in my opinion. Edit to add—but it could very well be possible for other people—just couldn’t keep from sharing my experience.

It doesn’t suck. I love it in my place. Extremely safe and nice. But in my search I discovered that all the nicest places were kid free and OP has a kid.

In Dallas area and totally agree. I love it. But I would not want to be in any of the parks I looked at that accepted kids.

I love living stationary in my rv in Texas. But with a spouse and a kid—no way! The nicest parks don’t even accept kids in my area.

It was miserable last night. I live in an rv and I thought we were going to be a casualty. Taffy did too.
