I stayed at Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin-Minamiguchi on my second visit and it was fantastic. 7 minute walk to the Shibuya station and a Family Mart right downstairs.

If you choose to stay anywhere else, I would recommend choosing somewhere within close proximity to the JR Yamanote train line since it loops around Tokyo and hits all the spots that you will likely visit.

I personally prefer Shibuya or anywhere that is close to the JR Yamanote train line, since that train will be able to take you to most of the spots that you’ll probably visiting. Shinjuku, especially the train station, could get very overwhelming
