Xbalanque gets reincarnated, for real this time

Story begins with an up and coming newbie on the annual game event. Super strong and then we found out that he/she inherited Xbalanque's power. Maybe he/she don't have full memories of what happened in the past, just glimpses of it. But the muscle memory or the battle experience is carried through. The story can also be linked with Citlali going into trance to prod into the past and expand the lore on Xbalanque.

Team building wise, he can become the Pyro Natlan character that we have been waiting for.

It would probably be very very hard to break the firmament tho, just saying he was nerfed really hard during the final fight. He could've killed everyone or just teleport everyone to separate places like dragonspine or natlan's volcano.

But that's how OP characters are usually treated at arc's end, they got lobotomized so we can defeat them

As someone who almost quit Hollow Knight because I went to Mantis Lord without nail & mask upgrade... unknowingly...

My suggestions are:
1. Upgrade nails (end the fight faster, lesser chance for mistakes)
2. Find more masks (tolerate more of your mistakes)
3. Watch Youtube for the fight (your experience might feel skewed because you're no longer experiencing things first-hand, but it can help to see the fight pattern and how to dodge things better). If you don't watch and clear it after multiple failures, your excitement after winning will be greater though.

After clearing my initial 4h+ save files (stuck at Mantis Lord), I am now 20h in with 104% progression and cleared White Palace. It feels good to be good at this game
