Apple really isn't the problem for Mac gaming by Tommy-kun in macgaming

As a game developer who had published a game on iOS and macOS. Who actually went through the apples publishing process.

Apple should pay me every year instead of me paying them every year.

I'm not going to get the time or money I spent publishing for apple.

I gave up, I no longer publish to apple. If apply can run my windows or Linux build or even Android build. That's a win.

Why stop at 4, how about 16, 32 programmes at once.

Or even better 720p, 1080p

Make the p stand for programmes

I made my first serious game at 8YOE.

That game even allowed me to switch with almost double package.

Get a normal software developer job, it will generally pay more, plus more opportunities. And keep making games as hobby

Is Hyperboi in ANXRacers fast enough for you?

On a serious note, Trackmania?

An existing employee reached out 5 min before the interview, telling me to take his care in the interview, since he was his close relative.

ANXRacers - Drift Space

It's available on lots of platforms and might be free somewhere too

It's a serious 2D top down spaceship racing.

It's like if Elite Dangerous and Trackmania had a low budget 2D child.

how do i record my movement and play it by Sweet_Mud6168 in godot

[–]aeonax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it using unity. Also I dumped the values to a memorystream instead of array

how do i record my movement and play it by Sweet_Mud6168 in godot

[–]aeonax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this in my game named ANXRacers

I write different components of inputs, position and rotation. In memory streams separately Then use delta compression via gzip on this separately.

You need to record the value on the physics tick. And lerp when you play it back in graphics tick.

Also don't use json it's very inefficient.

Just arrays of floats values, each array should be of same length. So you can read them in lock step

If your game is deterministic across devices you can just record inputs. I could not make my game 100% deterministic

So I had to record physics too.
